Tomorrow? Shouldn't that be tonight?
That was posted in the wee hours of the morn, which BLT may have been considering Saturday Night, so "tomorrow" would refer to Sunday.

...I think.

On the other hand, it's BLT we're talking about, so....

Mine will be ready in about an hour; maybe two. Comes in a hair above 3:15. Hope that doesn't constitute a broken promise. :)

Fuck it. Done, gone, sent. Not at all happy with it, but I can't think of any improvements I could make in the time left. Urgh, at least I made it (for the first time) to Round 2... recording rig's still bollixed, but I did listen to Reason, heh.

And judges, I worked my ass off to not pull an MC Eric B on the vocal mix. Hope it succeeded (and I can feel y'all cringing already, having been there myself).

So I'm in, with a 180° tonal swing from Round 1's entry (but Kimi still likes it, so... yeah).

Hoglen & Wages are in with electric guitar, trumpet, acclerwhachamacallit (I'm too lazy to look it up), harmonies, and good story lyrics. Posted moments from now in Ye Olden Place.

well... im done. i'll say honestly that I simply threw up 2 4 bar rap verses over my song to appease anyone who would dock it just because it was an instrumental. Which, given the nature of this competition, it's totally beyond fair to dock my song for that, so i'm not gripey.

Done!

Hopefully I will talk more this round. The reviews were awesome. The songs were stellar. Everyone is heaps talented. At some point I might say something critical and constructive and do a REVIEW. I am very shy about such things. I agree with everything everyone has said about me at this point though :) And am also VERY flattered about a lot of it.

I think this song is better than my other two, but what do I know? It's a little different for me, I'm going acoustic this time. With the percussion and stuff. And I kinda skated up and down the challenge. We'll just HAVE to SEE!

I'll post lyrics. I don't know much Spanish, I used the bit that I do know. I learned it during... nefarious circumstances. Thought I'd put it to use.

Mine's in, finally. Total time spent on recording/mixing came close to 24 hours, for some reason. It probably doesn't sound like it.

Sent. Late, but I took advantage of immunity. Not happy with this entry...didn't get to start it until 9pm tonight and walked in cold. I think it shows. It isn't mixed it's just...compressed. A lot.

Did we lose j$ and Noah McLaughlin? I don't see their entries. Also all the round two entry links on the wiki page are broken at the moment (they don't include the directory for this round in their URLs).

To judge #Frankie, it IS a story about a guy married to an awesome Spanish girl and he fucks up by bonin' her sister. Then gets taught a lesson. ........a Spanish lesson. :P

Well...It raWkS! 8) ...old school style.

...and to jb, the best I could come up with and keep a clean conscious with is, razzmatazz'zow. It means razzamatazz.....but with extra zow! :P ..
..yep, Spanish zow, you heard me right.

..and Ross, it's about as folk story telling as this old punker can muster up.

Spud, I hope you want to get drunk and chant my chorus, because I totally will/would.

Niv, yeah, I know.... I'm thinking about entering as Billy's Little Gouda. :|

also, if it looks like I'm pandering, I'm not. I don't even know what pandering means. I'm guessing fapping with a panda paw, but what do I know.

I can't believe I had to remove some smilies to post this. :/

Sorry about that. All the songs are up and should be running. And yes, it seems we have two defaults. There will be one lonely elimination this round.

Apologies for the epic fail. My three hours' recording time got eaten up by travel delays. Shame, as I was starting to enjoy the process.

GAH! Life stepped in and took over my recording time and energy this week-end. And damn if I didn't have a good tune written for this title.

*sigh* Oh well, at least I made it further than my previous Nur Ein attempt. Good luck to everyone!

If I get fired, I'm blaming you.

Listening to the songs right now. Some good stuff, though I feel like there's more than the usual amount of tossed-off challenges. Expect reviews tomorrow. :)
