C'mon Rabid. Don't give up. You're having your best Nur Ein run yet. Don't throw in that towel.

I'm with Niv. I'm enjoying your stuff more than ever before, and I know the judges are too.

Normally I am more than happy to encourage competitors dropping out - but in this case I agree with Niv and JE. The last 2 RG songs were great.

Btw - I for one would appreciate if contestants would post who their guest was, it will help me with judging the completion of the challenge part, especially the "more interesting" piece. Maybe it could also be in your e-mail to niv so that he can post it with your entry on the website, as he has done in the past.

Well, at the last minute my Crabs partner, Brian, came down with strep. So guest option two features a bunch of pals on the "ninety-seven" choruses. It isn't the same as a Crabs on Banjo improv, but it still has the feel of a song where there are guests on it. And it's 97 seconds long, so you won't get bored (hopefully)!
Appearances by Scott Loving, Joe Crow, Preston Spurlock, the Fools, Churchhill Downs and more!
OH MY FUCKING GOD!!!!

I totally missed the apostrophe in the title and my song has nothing to do with the year. I think I'm disqualified, folks.
Enjoy the song for what it is.

That's too bad. See you next year.

Turn it in. Mine doesn't have anything to do with the year either. I doubt that makes either of songs any worse, nor does it mean that our songs weren't inspired by the title.

I'm in. Oh man this competition is bringing out some styles that I thought I'd never write in. I guess that's the nature of Nur Ein. No time to second guess. Wish I had a tuba for this one.
Nur Ein!!!

Niv - regarding the the guest challenge, I've got a video that's pretty vital for the judges to see. Should I send you a link or just post it in the thread?

Aight, I just don't want any judges to miss it - fraser and maggie aren't singing, so it's tough to pick them out in the mix alone.

Sent! 1 minute to spare
hope that was the right file
=====================
D'oh!
No - wrong file.
Re-sent. I shall leave acceptance of final version to the discretion of the judges (the only difference is a stray untidy synth note right at the end - no major problem)
I am hoping Mr Wages superb vocals will drag me through on this on.
