NOTICE

Post by Mr. McHxaro »

Due to the gravitational pull of OctoFEST '05, this hxaro initiative will be delayed by one week.

Just wanted to post that here, so nobody thinks I'm slackin'....

:)

There is so much LOVE in the air!

You realize it's not nearly as cool when you announce it beforehand like you have and then everybody sits around waiting for it. You'd have been wise to wait until you had the goods to make the thread, I think.

ummm, no. (Where's your hxaro spirit dude?)

In fact, I realize that Hxaro is cool no matter when it arrives, be it late, on time, or ahead of schedule. Life happens, and if any of you sit around expecting accolades for your "gift" or sit around waiting FOR a gift, you are missing the good stuff... Hxaro to me is like icing on the cake. It isn't THE point, but's its awfully nice. So be patient FB...not everyone has had the chance to finish yet. It's almost ready to go!!!! Thank you to all who've submitted, and also to those I know who will be submitting soon, it's greatly appreciated. I know how busy you all are.

Hxaro rocks! And if I do this again, I'll probably do it the same way. It's my hxaro and I can announce if I want to.... hee hee!

-wow, that's kind of sour. Sounds like complaining about Christmas or your birthday...it's supposed to be HAPPY! What, you have a group of people sitting around waiting for this?

I can wait until Monday... Go Mr. McHxaro, GO!

Hxaro is cool no matter when it comes. But announcing and then putting off the revealing of the songs makes people pay less attention to the "Boy who cried Hxaro" then if you waited till you had all your wolves together and then let the whole pack loose without warning.

Octothorpe regrets that we cannot be a part of this particular hxaro, especially considering all the love which has been dumped on us recently, but we will make good once we have a recording setup in place again. It is slowly coming back together...

heh..thanks for the support folks!

I guess I'd hope that the people who would pay less attention to a late Hxaro than one on time wouldn't bother telling me about that. 'cuz I'm not really doing this for the audience, although judging by the fine, fine tunes received so far, they will love it anyway.

Like Jack said, it's about the Loooooooove!

And Spud, the hxaro spirit recognizes your heart. When, and as you can, no sooner.

Thanks everyone!

whether it's secret hxaro, not so secret hxaro, late hxaro, hxaro by charo, hxaro the day after tomorrow, or king arthur's infamous brand of once in a blue moon hxaro, it's all good because it's all hxaro.

BABYEATER
The Power Station would have been a far better band had they sung 'She's a babyeater, watch out kid, she's gonna eat you up ...'

The Power Station were a thing of beauty. You're thinking of the evil that is Hall & Oates.

How could a mix of Robert Palmer and Duran Duran get any better?

Did they not cover 'maneater' on 'The Power Station' LP? I remember atrocious versions of 'Harvest for the World' and 'Get It On' as well ....

But yes, Hall & Oates are indeed the devil in tight white pants.
