I would vote for LA (since Bangkok or Brisbane don't seem to be options) - but I don't seem to be able to vote.

I too would jump on the Spud bandwagon, but only if he wants to be jumped upon.

The mini show he organized in Seattle, where the Bloody Hams played their one and only show, was a fantastic time. Makes me miss the old studio where Spud's house now sits.

I'd love it if those BC Canucks (Leaf and Puce) came back for a Seattle show.

Aww, Jack, I appreciate that. I didn't even vote for Austin. I'd love to run one of these things, but the totals make it crystal clear that 2012 isn't my year.

There's me, Anti-M in PDX proper. There were some kids down in Eugene, but I think they're out of school now and all growsup and such. IIRC, MC3P0 is here, but again, flying under the radar.

Oh, and Albatross is in Fresno, which drive-timewise is farther from LA than PDX is from Seattle.

I took the liberty of removing Los Angeles, seeing as it had zero votes and pretty much nobody seeming to fight for it.

I also set it so that users can change their votes. I did this because I figured it would make sense to enable the people who initially voted for Atlanta and Austin to break the current tie between Madison and Seattle. I'd like to remove Austin and Atlanta from the list completely, since this is clearly a two-horse race, but I'm not sure whether it would allow the people who did vote for those two locations to vote again.

It looks like removing any of the options also removed all of the votes. Good job breaking it, hero.

I would vote for Madison WI because I like the idea of hosting it somewhere it has never been. The only exception so far was San Fransisco and it was good because it was the perfect 10th anniversary of the first one ...which was also there.

However, my official vote would be Atlanta because it would guarantee my presence. (And I've been trying to sell the idea of moving back there to my fiance so it would be a good opportunity to show her around.)

Before I accidentally nuked the totals it was:

L.A. with 0 (or 1 if you count the vote that Caravan Ray meant to cast but never did)
Austin with 1
Atlanta with 4
Madison with 10
Seattle with 10

Ha, that's kind of what I meant. 1 & 10 were in the same location. Therefore, the beginning and end of a decade of Songfight! Live events.

Atlanta = I'll be there ( I can always skip out for 500 miles on a weekend from Tampa

Maddison = Possibly. I would definitely try to get there. Logistics such as having just got back from week long vacation in April might make getting up to Wisconsin a little more difficult.

Honestly, I'm trying really hard to get back into the swing of things but it's difficult due to my lifestyle at the moment. (Two jobs and a live in fiance) I would likely try to make it anywhere it was. Seattle would be good to get back to. I loved it there.

It has been suggested that I be more vocal about the Seattle option.

Here's the deal. I have no specific desire to see it happen in Seattle this year, or at any specific time in the future, although it would be fun to have it come back here at some point.

That said, if it comes to Seattle by popular demand, I will not disappoint.

I've recast my vote for Madison. I'd love to see Seattle, but it's so far from Buffalo that I'll never get there in 2012. Madison is possible through Chicago, and I'll be in Madison next August for the 2012 Leonard Cohen Event.

Seattle is a roughly a 5 hour drive from Spokane.
Rachael and I would absolutely be there for that.
