Good: moved to new house. Bigger house, bigger yard. Very nice.
Good: sold old house! for a reasonable price, even.
Bad: haven't been able to close on the new house because of... it's a long story. so we're kinda stressed over that.
Good: i have a large space in the basement for my studio.
Bad: my mom's birthday is 24 sept. that morning, her mom (my grandma) had a heart attack. bad timing. yesterday, she died. she was my kids' last surviving great-grandparent. we're very sad.
Bad: the last few days i have been breaking out in hives. really really itchy. Awful. Worse than poison ivy.
Good: saw my doctor, he thinks I am allergic to this antibiotic I took a little while back. Don't need to take it again.
Good: no longer itchy after Zyrtec.
Good: a frustrating thing at work worked. no longer frustrating.
Good: new baby is .h.a.p.p.y. a lot! i call her happygirl. and the older boy loves her.

...and although I had to do some research to find out who you actually were, thanks to you too, MG, or should I say MK? I did have a beer or two on you guys, and I appreciate it.

A tip of the hat to mr. lamb, as well. You guys are amazing. I will find a way to honor you appropriately. I already have an idea.

Hmmm... while this topic was being created, I was sitting in the family church staring at my father's corpse. So that's not good. When I got back to Portland and went to work the following Tuesday, they pulled me aside before I could get into the office proper and fired me. Still not good. Being in Unemployment limbo (betwixt filing and receiving the first check) makes bankruptcy paperwork really awkward. Yup, still not good.

But the new band, Jacktown Road, fuckin' A, supergood to be a part of. So all in all, well, I think I'm running about even, or maybe a little up.

And hey, I'm back on the boards for the first time since, what, July?

Yeah man. You should write a song about it. When I get my studio cleaned out, that's what I'm going to do.

I hope that things get better although it will be always difficult I know this- in many ways. it's great that you are in an exciting band that will be such-much a source of good. Don't know what to say much but stared at your post for quite a while wishing there was a thing that could be said in the world to help. xxxxDenise

I'm glad you have something to keep your mind occupied, Rabz and Spud. That is really important to allow things to drizzle in to process and not drown you in a flood. Wish there was something I could do, but know I'm rubbing my temples with my fingers and shooting out my extra saucy waves from my brain spaghetti to you guys. *man hug*

Consequently, I am finding your band quite groovy. :) And sorry if I seem a tad stalkeresque because I've started the typical add-add-add as I do tend to do. :)
