BYD is in for another year of punishment, and I'm personally looking for some help with IDs and liners for the Nur Ein Listening Party.

Last year went well, so I'm game with Niveous to try the experiment yet again.

Paco did the unofficial theme song last year to great dramatic effect. Adam Adamant , Ross, and many others did IDs, and Niveous went way beyond the mark with all the history segments and liners for each round.

I'm open to most items you might want to put in the show. It'll be Monday evenings at 8:00 pm, with a preshow of SongFight, NrEin and SpinTunes material 30 minutes before we start, Beginning Monday April 21st.

Nur Ein!!!!!!!!! (I believe 9 exclamation marks are in order this time)

GD is in, after successfully procrastinating on doing a songfight for one full year. Glad to hear the change on the schedule.

I'm heavily considering doing this crazy roller coaster again either as myself (Luke Henley) or Girl Brains. Oh heck, let's give it a shot!

I'd like to give this another try; anyone in need of a female vocalist/lyricist? Or willing to provide guitar/keyboard/bagpipe accompaniment?

It is almost time for the Nur Ein and I would like to introduce this year's panel of judges.

First up, a long time veteran of Songfight and the host of last year's Songfight Live. I would like to welcome to the panel: Jon Eric.

Next up, coming back from last year's panel, she's my bass playing buddy. I would like to welcome back to the panel: Mysteria.

Our third member is a newcomer, not only to Nur Ein but to Songfight, here to bring some fresh new ears to the panel. Everyone please welcome, Ricky Turbine.

And rounding out our panel is the reigning Nur Ein champion. Welcome to the panel, Carlo Bruno Jr.

Oh...and then there's me. Niveous.

I'm going to get the wiki and database updated ASAP, if not this weekend then soon after. I'm trying to make a more automated Nur Ein website that Niv can manage himself.

There is already a nurein.songfight.net subdomain available, which has broken in some way. But it runs under a separate user so that it can be independently administered.

As Niv has expressed a desire to make sure Nur Ein is seen as a branch of Song Fight, I suggest putting the "more automated" site on the subdomain.

I'm also willing to point a .org subdomain at the .net subdomain for complete coverage.

Getting the database and my tools transferred to another server is going to be prohibitive time-wise, but I'm willing to work on making sure we use that domain. It's just a matter of DNS server shenanigans.

Sounds good. I'll contact you when I have things working. I'll probably get the Old Wiki format updated first and then focus on the New Shiny Website in the first round or six.
If I had a dollar for every one of my songs j$ has called a 90s pastiche, I'd have $1 for every song I've written.

Here's a start. I almost have the database/admin panel complete, so it's a matter of making pretty pages format data.

JB - let me know when you can do the name direction whatnots.

Breaking news.

Due to a death in the family, Ricky Turbine has had to leave the Nur Ein Judges Panel.

He has been replaced by Geoff Wreckdom!
