Sounds to me like your getting screwed. No one rates your life status by your title man... it's all about the cashflow!
...and hours.
My financial goal in life is to do less and get more.
This does not apply to getting your postings rank changed though.

It's an academic job. So in exchange for 1/3 of what I should be making, I get to work whenever I want, however much I want (within reason and as long as what needs to get done gets done), and I get to learn about quantum concepts while I work (since that's what the project is about).
If only I had some kind of job security I'd be happy as a clam. I don't care about being poor. Of course, if I had a wife and kid, I'd be singing a different tune.

I wish the rankings changed every 50th post. 100 posts is a sh'load, especially when you try to only post when you think you have something to contribute to a thread. OK, I'm done whining now...
