Ha, good one! No, it was a sincere non-Yankee accent question, actually.
Also part of the procrastination process (eliminating the list of ideas that seem stupid, even to me) before work can begin in earnest.
Which reminds me, anyone have a decent bull-roarer sample? /jk (another eliminated idea)

It really is a whole different country out there, isn't it?

I got mine in early --- I actually have more time to work on it but I'm digging it how it is and I don't want to tinker it to death. It was great to have guest vocals to work with on this one (my guest sings the vocals ... quite different from my usual vocal style!)

Guest performers from the Alan Lomax archives, from the tracks "Whoa, Buck"-vox, and "Black Women"-chain gang field tools.
Well, yeah.

Cavedwellers - WOW! I love your song. Beautiful medieval sound. That makes me even more curious about your Mother Goose cover...

"Mum" and "condom" don't really rhyme.
"you can bring your Mum
I heard she likes it up the bum"
would probably work better

My featured guest is Shelley Boucher from the Seamus Collective singing back up vocals. She also helped me find the idea for the song I submitted after I didn't like the first two songs I wrote.

my guest is my husband, who is from Australia. This is what happens to an Adelaide/Sydney hybrid accent when it moves to Texas for 15+ years. I figured he has been sitting here and he has only been involved in one Thing ever (a GOM entry) that I have done. I thought he sounded droid-y.

My guests were Carlos and James on conga. Pete stopped playing just after I started recording, and James took over.

Whereas I don't give a sh*t.
However, FBF, that's an amazing song. It floats all my boats. I haven't heard all the songs yet, but that was a very pleasant listen for me. Just had to say that.

I suggest you just stop right there. Rank the others randomly—doesn't matter.
Thank you for the advance kind words.
