Dunno how we should credit it, but Starf/HInc might be better listed as Brainpipe although we're doing songs by all three I think.
Craig? What you say?

Brainpipe would be better, but if you need to use my name to attract more people, that's fine. hahaha!

Sore Looser / Broken Class

Post by STUNTBOX »

WOW! What a trip!

I am/was Sore Looser and then Broken Class from way back when. I haven't been to this site in a loooooooong loooong time and when I do, BAM!!! SF Live is gonna be HERE ...and only two weekends from now!!!! I hope I can make it for at least one night, I really do!

I've got the flier, my band's not playing that weekend (stuntbox.net <-shameless plug) and the wife's planning on being out of town. Karma? Fate? Dumb luck? A trap? Idunno, but I'm sure as hell gonna try to make it.

Hmmm, can I get some folks together to rock the place with some "Red Robot", or maybe "Down to the Atom"? Jeeez, it's been so long!

It's great that so many of you are still active on this: Hoblit, Octothorpe, Frankie Big Face, Pray for Mojo, Fluffy to name a few.

Did I say "what a trip" yet, or something like it?

Welcome back. If you come out, we'll squeeze you in for a song or two. Start volunteering to play on sets and you'll get some volunteers to help squeeze you in I bet. ;)

With all of that falling into place... well..wow, its fate that you come out and hang with us.

So do we have any idea at all of how long we will be playing? We are trying to make a set, but it's hard to do if you don't know how long it is...

The PA head has RCA record out if anybody is bringing a lap top with a decent sound card.

Otherwise I'll bring extra mics or what not...but I don't know how helpful THAT'LL be.

It's a tempting thought to play a song, but I think I'll just lurk in the shadows. I'm just looking forward to meeting some of you SF'ers and hearing some unique music.

the Bundaberg is on it's way to Atlanta!

from JB's favorite online knowledge source....

Bundaberg Rum has been labelled the drink for yobbos, after some bars reported that "bundy drinkers are a lot louder, and more disruptive than other patrons." Four bars in Brisbane banned the rum products, claiming it makes drinkers aggressive and attracts the wrong crowd. "They will abuse bar staff, half a dozen a night, normally gangs of blokes, the marketing is directed at yobbos," claimed one bar owner. The makers of Bundaberg Rum strongly refuted claims its drinkers were "yobs".

Someone better enjoy it as it cost me enough to Fed-Ex it. :)

sorry I won't be there this year, and get to meet all you folks I haven't met yet.

enjoy courtesy of Caravan Ray and yours truly.

This Thursday, Lunkhead and I will raise a glass of wine to toast the start of SFLIVE07( Long may you rock!) from the comforts of our Berkeley, CA home.
I'm a little sad that we wont be there, as we've had a really great time attending the last two. We took our East Coast Summer Vacation last month, and I just couldn't cobble together enough vacation time yet to make it out again for this rock-fest.
I will miss the rock, and even more, the chance to catch up with everyone.

I'll pull myself together, but really...I hope everyone has an amazing time.
(Long live Team Seahorse!)

xo.

Yeah, cheers to you all, and have a blast. I couldn't make it happen this year, either, vacation time wise. I'm looking forward to pics, audio, video, etc. And if there's going to be a shirt I'd like to buy one.
