My favorite sidefight of all sidefights and I'm gonna be late for it. Not by much though. Hang in there, giftee.

I have to join in the "I will be a bit late" crew too. The song is done minus vocals (always a problem with me), but I have the day off from work, and will do everything in my power to finish it today. Sorry, giftee.

So, I finished my song, BUT I am unhappy with it. Is it better to give the gift on time even though it's not as good a gift as it could be, or is it better to give the gift later and to create a superior product? Or should I give in the subpar product now and still give in the better product later, leaving it to the gifter's opinion if the original gift is subpar but also leaving a product I find subpar to exist in posterity?

This one, but you'd better follow through on getting the better gift eventually. It's likely that whoever receives the subpar offering will still appreciate it anyway. The fear of receiving (or giving!) a subpar cover is one of the risks you take around here.

Very excellent session last night.
Some mixing (by a better mixer than me) and the song is done.
Sorry for the lateness, but it's not too late.

Wheeee!!!!

My GOM request (Jay Reatard's Night of Broken Glass) as interpreted by Caravan Ray is FANTASTIC!! Better than I possibly could have imagined. Thanks, CR -- and good job, wow!

I also greatly enjoyed Tep's entry, but I haven't worked through all of them yet.
