One year ago tomorrow I turned 34. For my birthday I gathered 4 close friends and had a birthday jam. The goal was to make a Songfight entry. Although I had been a small part of one fight before, this was the beginning of my active participation in this site. I've been a part of 35 entries in this past year. I've really grown as a musician and a writer thanks to the mostly constructive criticisms I've received. This is by far the greatest site on the internet and has always re-affirmed that musician folk are the best lot of people around.

Let's hope I can be as active at 35 this year!

Frankly the best part has been all the free truly independant music I've enjoyed over the year. It's especially nice to be able to communicate with the artists.

Thanks Jim and Lunk! I actually posted that on February 20th, my B-day was Feb 21st, but the sentiment is the same and so is my gratitude!
