Don't pout yet -- they aren't all posted yet!

Which is undoubtedly why Eddie has not yet posted the actual link to the page, you preemptive backhackers! ( ;

DAMN! I'm dying to hear everyone's songs. It's killing me. I feel like the day they were finishing up the last tweaks on the invention of fire. I'ma rubbing my hands together with a curious look on my face, eating un-popped pop corn.

Thanks Paco! "Maps" came out awesome. And an extra thanks to Todd McHatton. You may have made "Sprout and the Bean" for Tomski but I adore that song so hearing it covered was an extra goodie.

Isn't this wonderful!? It's like after all the presents have been opened after Christmas, but like a month later when you're taking down the tree and ornaments, you find this little gift that fell under the dead pine needles. You open it and it's like OH MY GAWD! I Love it! ....This is the gift of music!

And to all you assf**ks that aren't posting a link, I heard every song a month ago....with my specialness...that you don't have, because you're not special! so **** you!

...happy GOM. :)

You'd make a terrible teacher. "One slight adjustment and..." sounds more condescending than helpful. :)

J$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You did all 4! Oh my god, I am totally LOVING your gift to me! Well, as of this moment, In Bloom is only like the first couple words.
But my gawd! I love your Ukuladyboys renditions. And I love your voice. The way you say Sheener instead of Sheena is SO euro it makes me ROCK the f**k OUT!
I must say, your Ramone's cover gave me an erection (no homo....kinda) and Where is my Mind and Cannonball made my nipples tingly. I can't wait to hear In Bloom!

My GOM request (Jay Reatard's Night of Broken Glass) as interpreted by Caravan Ray is FANTASTIC!! Better than I possibly could have imagined. Thanks, CR -- and good job, wow!
Thank you Reve - it was a pleasure.

Bit weird - I had never heard of the dude before and getting into the song, and just as I finished I heard he died. Bummer.

And, Like A Virgin - I have been stiffed for the every first time! Never mind - I will consider Jon Eric's Beach Boys song a de facto gift. That is awesome J-E!! Great vocals.

Also enjoying The Ukuladyboys "Cannonball" very much (now 'fess up J$ - the sole reason you started on this whole uke trip was purely so you could start a band called the "The Ukuladyboys", wasn't it)

Busted.

Hey, GoM Party People. Checking in from Nootdorp, Holland, where it's Friday morning and my work day is just starting. I can't believe I'm still here. Nice country, the food and beer are great. But I'm still pretty anxious to return, which I will do on Sunday.

I wanna get back so I can continue my entry for this. It won't be too long.

As with the past couple of years - there is a small grace period before the stiffers are officially determined - but rest assured - no fighter will be left behiind. If you pm-ed me before I still have your name - but if you didn't and you'd like to be on teh committee to save teh stiffees, let me know by pm and I will organize the effort once the page is officially posted and our grace period has passed.

I think it was more the case that the band name was waiting for me to get on the uke trip. it must have worked, the ukuladyboys play their first gig on Feb 9th at the Ukulele Cabaret of London town.

Credit where it's due - Mr Andy Balham (ukulule-strumming, cashpoint-tolerating straight man) came up with the name in one of his periodic moments of genius.

Really glad you enjoyed, BLT. Great originals, had fun doing 'em! And your Headache is awesome too. Need to get to my better headphones so I can enjoy it in its fullness.

All this positivity is encouraging me to get to reviewing some time this weekend ...

I just love that there's enough of a British ukulele culture that there are ukulele lounges in London. Did that start before or after the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain? I know that they're directly responsible for the massive surge in people buying them there (and I must admit, they're why I finally bought a ukulele too, since their cover of Smells Like Teen Spirit finally pushed me over the edge).

I am nearly done.

I had a singer round the studio today, I will mix it over the weekend and it'll be sent Monday/Tuesday.

I am sorry it took longer than I was hoping, but I had to wait till my singer was available.

It will be in SOON

Bear with me giftee, and stiffer commitee.

Tho interestingly I am (as last year) both a stiffer and stiffee... heh.

Right to action
