Glenny was supposed to bring the rock, not the suck :(

I have a mic stand and mic to bring.

Hey, it's just over a week to the show!

How about a live fight title?

Also, do we know who is playing when? How long will sets be? It's getting kind of down to the wire, here.

Okay, we can figure that stuff out this weekend. But I have an urgent request. I need a poster.

I'm imagining the Yankees font, with a red, white, and blue guitar (to look like the bat, and top hat) with a background of the financial district skyline... I wish I wasn't busy everyday till Thursday.

Is anyone going to have an electric 4 string bass I can play on Saturday? I'd prefer not to take mine on the plane.

No one has volunteered an electric bass yet. Niv is bringing an acoustic-electric. It would be nice to have a "plain" electric bass to use during the "band" sets. It might sound better in the "band" context, will be easier to deal with sound setup wise, and also will probably be easier to play for those who aren't used to acoustic bass.

I PMed this to Niveous, but I will also post it here. There are tons of instrument/amp rental places in NY, and I would be happy to contribute some cash to renting an electric bass/amp.

I've contacted a friend of mine who does freelance graphic design (it's the same guy who did the art for my album An Air of Legitmacy). I've given him the following list of performers. If anyone has any amendments to make to that list, get them to me ASAP.

Sockpuppet
Naked Philosophy
Bad Boys at Bat Mitzvahs
Noah McLaughlin
Roymond
Sheail
Frankie Big Face
The John Benjamin Band
Kasper
Jim Tyrrell
Marcus Kellis

Doing the math, it looks like we can do 25 to 30 minute sets each night and still have some give.

Who has a venue preference? I know Den & Jon Eric need pianos so that's Sunday. Roy wants to put the fam to work on Sunday. Jim T is Saturday. Kasper & Sockpuppet want Saturday action. Anyone else?

I could go either way, but I'd prefer to play on Saturday.

Great poster, Spud!!! Thank you!

Jon Eric, I'm still waiting to see what your friend does and then I'll send them both off to Bohemian Hall and see which one they wanna use.

Hey guys, I'm only going to be available Saturday, and I was more planning on stopping by to say hi to folks and stuff. I mean, I would be honored to perform, but I don't really need a set or anything... unless Song Fight demands it. :) In which case I better start practicing my ass off.

Yes, I have offered. Thought I saw another name on the main page. But I can bring it.

Hey, don't be shy about using Spud's if you want. His turnaround time beat my friend's by a lot. And Spud's poster looks really excellent, too.

OK, roy, I put you down as providing the electric bass guitar. Thanks!
