You aren't the first to have made that request (this week). I guess nearly two years of laziness+excuses is more than enough. I'll bring my headphones home from work this 3-day weekend and see if I can come up with something.

Yes, we agreed to pester you about releasing those songs on the weekend. So let's hear 'em!
Glennny, thanks for the videos! Is there a way to download them locally for posterity?

You need to sign up for a Vimeo account and there should be a link below the video list to download a .mp4 video file.

I also have the MTS files on my external hard drive. (AVCHD files) If you have a player for such I could burn a DVD of them theoretically.

OK that's my limit for this week. 5GB of video. I managed to upload 33/37 songs I captured on video.
Next week I'll post:
Dollar Bill & the Ink Points- Calico Alley
JB- The Proposal
XTRG- Don't Think I Don't Miss You
Jim Tyrell- Dizzy Spells
I missed the beginning of the Dollar Bill & the Ink Point Set, the beginning of the Caravan Ray set, and the beginning of the Crabs on Banjo Set.
Good stuff everyone!
Glen

Glennny, these videos man, they're really great; it's the first time I've seen video of myself that I can stand to watch!
Thanks so much.

I showed the videos so far of the dbti set to M... she enjoyed them, thanks a lot, glennny!
By "beginning of the dbti set" does that mean that you missed one song or two at the beginning? We did 6, was wondering if "Still Waiting" (track 2) existed.
Also, any progress on the audio, Niv?

Bill,
Yeah, track 2 does not exist in video. i was loading out with the band, I'm bummed i missed those 2 songs, the rest of the set was fantastic! If I had known you'd guys would've set up so quick I would've given camera duties to someone.
I'll be the wiser next time.

We'll just have to do it again sometime real soon, then, won't we?
And ditto on JB et al those are great videos. Oddly I have never
seen myself dancing before. More Tony Montana than Tony Manero but I still would
ps That's a joke I could never have dreamed of being able to make. Another reason to praise the joys of songfight!

Well I'm finally home.
Touched down on Saturday at Dave Dobbyn International Airport, Taranaki - and have been sleeping on and off ever since.
New York! Awesome.
Loved New York. Totally loved it.
Loved the LES (that's Lower East Side, I'm told) - big ups to my homies back in my old hood. Keep it real dawgs.
Loved the pizza. Did some serious pizza eating in SoHo and Little Italy. Luckily I can do that without losing my girlish figure.
Loved the subway. Best public transport around.
Loved the Sidewalk Bar. I would wave - and the nice man would bring me beer! Awesome!
Loved FAO Schwartz. Loved Tom's Restaurant (of Seinfeld fame). Loved the Manhattan Children's Museum. Loved the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (NY Annex).
I even saw Yoko at the Dakota apartments! Well... I saw an Asian woman at the Dakota apartments. She got off a tour bus. It could have been Yoko. It would be handy for her, she could always get one of those buses home after she went down to the shops. I'm pretty sure it was Yoko. I don't know why she got back on the tour bus though... I think I sat next to Colon Powell on a bus too. I definitely saw Salman Rushdie at the Dominos at 1st and Allen. Maybe.
Anyway, thanks to our hosts Niv and Roy - job well done

Weird, while I was there, I'm pretty sure I saw Crocodile Dundee. Though he's let himself go a bit
