Møurning Brëth has released their debut album
The Dead Basket. Listen to it and try to tell yourself that you were not put on this earth to worship Satan.

Mel Gibson's Apocalypto / O Come All Ye Faithful - Good music and visiting the dentist have never been so cogently snuggled together in my bleeding eardrums (and you should pardon the perhaps artistic use of the word cogently)!
Hunting Flowers - Awesome. I remember Pumpkin Buzzard being a little more of a random, playful sound than this. But this is structured like a mofo. A cool mofo. And I really like that it can still be scary destructive pumpkin buzzard even though it's got a real shape and dareIsay it's a dancy shape.
Natural Beauty - Maybe TOO dancey. I like the nanana stuff at the end. I bet this sounds better in the context of the album because it'd come amidst songs like Hunting Flowers and Digital Smile (the latter of which has its own special kind of tonal destruction in the vocals).
Hospital Gardens - Link is broken.
Garlic Breath - This is NO Møurning Brëth "get that out of here. that garlic breath. it is going to kill..." You must hear how awkward that sounds. The loop is pretty much the same throughout the song. That means that after the first ten seconds, I know what the rest of the song is going to be like underneath the relatively random, flowless rapping.
Møurning Brëth - I will let you know what I think after I've listened to the whole thing.

Oh right. I forgot that I posted that here. I actually just broke the link last night or the night before.
It's basically an 11 minute prose poem spoke/sung over the same quiet guitar part looped over and over again.
If you really want to listen to that I'll repost it.

I watched Dominoes in its entirety. I think it's safe to say I need a hobby (that sort of hurts.)

Yeah, I think I broke some sort of rule for internet video length. Should I have kept it under five minutes? Well, screw that. I'll make videos as long as I want.
And "My Movie" is longer.

I was home with the two older boys (Andy and Shannon) this morning, and we recorded a cover of a Muppet Movie song.
Can You Picture That?

not a new song. Not even using my song. But still, it may be of interest to those of you into this sort of thing.
I entered a competition for Triple J (a radio station here is .au land) called PixelFreaks, where you had to make a 30 second representation of Triple J.
They announced the 9 finalists today, and my entry didn't make it. But, it contains music by Caravan Ray, so I thought it was worth subjecting my peer group too.
OH&S: Keep radios away from managment

Spare me the bother of actually having to watch this - do you get naked at any time during?

I take my shirt off and draw a smiley face on my abdomen. That's the closest I get to naked.
*edit* You should watch it if you want to see me confess my love to a can of fanta in front of an American flag and a giant crucified Jesus statue.

I have a St. Patrick's Day show coming up, so I set out to write a few 'new traditionals' to work in to the set. I ended up with a six-song CD. Yay! A new recording of my Naked On The Meach is on there. Here's one of the new songs:
The Wall

I found it strangely erotic. And more importantly it made me laugh. Especially the shoes.
More please! with less on?

I have no idea what shoes you're talking about.
And uh...child labor laws prevent me from getting naked or something.

Are they SF'ers, or are you Pumpkin Buzzard? That is a killer song! I love it.
