Congrats Bill. And that was fun, Niv, thank you.

Suggestion for any future SF Jeop. At the beginning, post a start and end time of when the questions get posted so people can set their reminders to tune into the mighty Song Fight at that time.
Also, I think this is the first time I have ever subscribed to a thread for email notification. So, time to unsub.

So instead of answering that question I'd like to mention that probably the most controversial song ever (based on forum response, anyway) was Amsmspsptk's "Experimental Fashion" which generated 5+ pages of ranting about how it isn't music and has no place here. Personally I liked it a lot, but the artist in question got attacked so quickly that he didn't feel like actually answering any of my legitimate questions about how he made it, and disappeared forever.
If anyone wants to take that trip down memory lane, here's a link!

So I just reread that, even though a lot of the posts were deleted after-the-fact making most of it seem kind of disconnected and such. And wow, 10 years ago, we were 10 years younger. It's weird to think of Jeff Fal (and myself) as being 23 and Frankie as being, well, my age now. He seemed like such an old fart then.

(I'd like to think we've all mellowed out a lot since then, too.)

Also, whatever happened to Jippers? I remember there being something a bit sad between him and his wife, like his wife decided that he shouldn't work on music anymore since he wasn't doing anything profitable or mainstream-appeal, and he decided his marriage was more important. I am probably completely misremembering.

I think this is common unless your wife is also a musician. Speaking from experience. :?

Tune in tomorrow, April 1, to see longtime fawmer Christopher Short (aka MENBAH!) compete on everyone's favorite quiz show.

No, it's actually happening. Reportedly, Trebek will be asking him about FAWM (but not Songfight. Boo hoo).

I know Song Fight seems to be the hotel California to the smarter quadrant of tragically hip musicians on earth, but I always considered all of you as pseudo geniuses....well, except fluffy, he's the opposite because he's a real genius that dumbs down to be a PSEUDO pseudo smart guy. *scratches my head*....yeah.

So, way to go MENBAHLS! :P

Has he plugged songfight yet, or just FAWM? I suppose that onhis second day Alex would ask hima bout something other than songwriting.

I can't believe that the mighty SONG FIGHT is not mentioned, yet that stupid fawm is. I know a lot of you guys like fawm, but I'm sorry, fawm is retarded. If Christopher Short doesn't mention SF, .........I'm not sure if I can allow him to share my space if I meet him irl.

I didn't see his second show (it's on the DVR) but we did watch yesterday's and he talked about Puerto Rico instead of us.
