My new band A.P.I. is a hardcore punk/sludge-influenced band that fucking hates everything. Life is shit, and so are we.

Unfortunately, myspace is giving me shit about not being able to have a fake e-mail address now, and it won't let me change to a real e-mail address, so until that's sorted out we cannot be internet friends. But please listen.

Here's something I've been working on...

Cynthia Size and the @eclectic spOOns - Trapped and Listless

It's so hard
When you're lonely
Trying to get through
Fortunately
Memory fades
Into your arms
Forever thankful
Trapped and listless

Sometimes I don't know you
Perfect stranger
My reflection
Alcohol placebo
Wonderful
Like my nightmares
In the daytime
Trapped and listless

...feedback would be appreciated, though not by any means expected or demanded, cheers!

Nigel - I like the twinkly bits in your tune but turn that main bit down (or off) and/or switch it up a bit. I could imagine seeing a band playing this live and thinking "is the bassist actually retarded?" I didn't time it but the song must be at least 4 minutes and the bass plays a sum total of 1 note. True, it's the right note, but c'mon.

Anyway I did an instrumental song. Who's surprised?
I'm doing an instrumental album, but this is the best bit so far

Lamb Bones suckass myspace.

My new band, countryish rock (though I'm the only kid from anywhere near the south in it) fancies themselves a bunch of cowboys. One of the songs won't upload so here's our first single "Hey Darlin'." Just kidding, the best song is "Heal" because I wrote it. You've probably heard it before (no?) But NOT LIKE THIS!

Holy hell! I love it Luke! I'm so happy to hear you go back towards your folk. Not that your brash was bad, but this is so much more you and your comfort zone. One of these days I'd love to produce that wall of passion.
....and trust me, it would be a collaboration of artist and producer. There is so much unique flow in the song Hey Darlin, that I'd be a fool not to bring it to the final mix, and the same for Heal.

Just for BLT, probably, but there's a new song and new mixes (with newly-recorded vocals/violin) up at the Lamb Bones 'space.
