Woo! Representin' the females. Am I the only girl in this? I guess I am.
I just spent a couple hours recording my song/learning how to use my Dad's recording stuff(and spending 30 minutes on the phone to my Dad in some airport saying "Okay, this won't work. What should I do? Well that's not working either.").
And I just listened to it, and it totally clipped like whoa. Fuck. Need to go sort that out. Blah. I guess that whole "Doesn't kill you, makes you stronger" thing is kicking in...

I'm out.
Sorry, Jack and Johnny, I begged you guys to stay on as judges, etc., and I really, *really* tried to get a song together for round 2, but I just can't do it. I don't think I've ever been so uninspired in my life... timing is everything I guess. My job is wearing me out, I'm a zombie by 8 o'clock, and it was my daughter's birthday thing this past weekend. Everything I've tried to record so far sounds like complete ass, and there's no way I'm going to get a song done tonight. I give up. I guess I'd rather go out on a disqualification than submit a piece of shit that I'm not proud of.
Good luck to the others. I'll be cheering for Calfborg.

Song completed and submitted.
Another song with me playing live drums.
Sorry to see that you aren't going to have a song for round 2, Sven, but I understand how it is... As busy as it has been around here, I had to throw all of my song together as a last minute effort today.
I think I like how it turned out. Not sure at the moment, but I am leaning towards liking it.
EDIT: I hate my vocals on the song, but I am happy with the rest of it.
ROCK!

Allrighty, well ours is in. We've been having a great time in the Nur Ein and heres crossing my fingers this one will get us into round three.
Sorry to see Sven and Stuey go, and I hear their pain about the time crunch. 5 days seems so much tougher than 7 or 8, but I'm enjoying the challenge.
Can't wait to hear the new songs, good luck everybody!

Listened to my entry again this morning. HATED the lead vocal. Re-recorded the lead vocal this morning and nearly made myself late for work as a result. Funny, when you consider the second verse of the song.
It's better than it was.
Note to the Nur Ein fightmasters: It is in the same online location where the old version was. I just did an overwrite.
ROCK!
