Hey Poor June, same here, same date! Congrats to us!

A big thanks to SF for occupying more time of mine last year than any other leisure-pursuit. ALLL worth it.

Life was good and happy and look what you've done. You've brought back Burger Time. One of the ultimate time consuming retro games. Must fight urge to play. Must continue working.

You're in luck - pizza is just a few key strokes away! While playing EverQuest II just type /pizza and a web browser will launch the online ordering section of pizzahut.com. Fill in your info and just kick back until fresh pizza is delivered straight to your door.
This is stupid. Ooo, it opens your browser. Big fucking deal. I could write code to do that. They should build it into the game, so you don't have to leave the game to order it. Then it would at least be cool. In fact, what would be really cool is if they developed a system where any resturant that delivers could submit their menu (say, in xml form) to Everquest, and as a player, you could hit a food button and be presented with a list of resturants in you area that deliver and their menus. You could then order through the game (it would get charged to the same credit card they use to bill you for the game), and using VoxML (voice XML), Sony's servers would call the delivery company and tell them the order. After they'd gotten the order, they could press 1 or something to verify that the order was placed, and the player would get a tell that everything's cool. Or, if the resturant had trouble with the order, the player would get a tell saying "there was a problem with your order. Please call Mike's Wings at 617.123.4567" or something like that. Then Sony could take a cut for every delivery, and shit I tell you what, I'd find myself jumping in game just to get delivery (I lose menus all the time).

(Of course, it would have to be World of Warcraft for me to use it.)

From what I read, they are working on these two things already. Right now of course they are using the basic launch browser thing to see if the idea will catch on. This is only from what I read. I do not know the guys at sony.

So you may all have seen the trailer for 'Scanner Darkly' already but if not

http://www.ifilm.com/ifilmdetail/2665143?htv=12

Pros: Richard Linklater directs, brilliant book.

Cons:Keanu Reeves. Woody Harrelson. Winona 'I just forgot to pay' Ryder. It also bears uncanny resemblance to the video for 'Take On Me' by A-Ha!
