Song circle tonight so a fast one at the end of day. And when you need something fast you can't go wrong with a love song to your wife, eh?

Enjoyed those last two, Lunkhead. It must be fun having Erin sit in, so to speak.

Another country song. I call it a tear in my beer but I'm out of beer song.

It was fun to have Erin join in, definitely. She really got into it. I could see she could get hooked.
I worked on the new BSS song for a bit and missed a couple days because of that. Back at it tonight.

Oh, this one builds nicely, Lunkhead. You've had several that I've enjoyed quite a bit and this one is near the top.

Thanks! I think that one has some potential. Today I opted for just synth in a loop and some Rhodes.

Another damn depressing breakup song. This one about divorce. *sigh* I think I need to get out the bass and drums and get out of my rut.

I've started toying with some synths and such but I'm not making much progress. The good news is that I AM learning a few things. (For instance, I finally figured out how to quantize in Reaper.. turns out if you have it on 1/4 instead of 1/32 it works a WHOLE lot better.) That being said, while I was waiting for a render I picked up the guitar and here's another G&G song.

Cool, I look forward to hearing your synth track! I'm meanwhile still avoiding the guitar and having too much fun in synth jam land. Tonight I got into it and didn't realize I'd been recording for nearly six minutes.

I spent entirely too many hours on this and I've got a lot yet to learn. But I'm not completely unhappy with it.

More synth-y fun jam times from me tonight. I cheated a little due to lack of inputs on my interface and overdubbed a part.

We've had snow the past two days so I've not been able to ride my motorcycle... but I hope she knows I'm still thinking about her.

I saw a meme on fb a few minutes ago that had the first two lines of this song in it. So, a super short *slaps knee* song called "Short People Problems."

Last night was BSS night and we cranked out another Song Fight tune. Tonight I jammed on the synths again.

I did an (almost accidental) entry for songfight tonight, so no sharing.

I'm drum'n'bass'n'lead'n tonight.
I finally ran out of space on that SoundCloud account, and the three others I'd set up, and gave up and paid for SoundCloud Pro. :/ I wish it weren't so expensive!

Keep forgetting to post here, but have only missed two days this month. Hope to finish strong. Tonight's jam was Rhodes-centered with the modular playing backup offscreen. But fun fact: the drum beat is a single kick drum module that I got a few days ago. Details in the description on youtube.

To keep myself interested in doing this tonight I decided to do something in 3/4 triplets for a change. I think that helped me learn a little more about how to use the volcas in different ways.
