All of your songs are being stacked up to Lightning Bolt. After each track I will listen to a Bolt song and then review your song in terms of that.

Tonetripper - I dig on your beat. Your voice sounds like Dave Grohl, even though he'd never be a part of a song like this. I wish the guitar had more edge. That said, this Lightning Bolt song I'm listening to buries your song with a cloud of manic noise right off the getgo, then ties it all together in an air-tight groove of mammoth proportions. Too bad, really, that when your song comes face to face with the Bolt it becomes entirely vaporized and carried away with the wind.

WreckdoM - I already fear that no lounge act can face off with the Bolt. No matter how evil. This music actually makes me think of the music in Sam and Max Hit the Road. The break into the next thing almost sounds like it could hold its own with the Bolt. But it's so short. There needs to be more rock than that. I actually started the Bolt song while your song was still ending. The echo-y howls fit in, but then I'm sorry as yet another competitor was systematically dissected while still alive and then incinerated.

Goatsong - Homage to old ghostly blues recordings. Not in the same arena as the Bolt even.

Kapitano - At first I was like thinking of Spiritualized. Now I'm thinking of Ween. But I wish I was thinking about the Bolt. In fact now I am thinking of the Bolt. And how their snowy peaks are hardly snowy at all because the searing quality of their rock allows no room for snow. Unlike this song, on which much snow could nestle. Also, your Ian Curtis impression is kind of goofy. Bordering on parody.

Ross Durand - The Bolt is going to chew you up and never spit you out because it loves chewing so much. I'm going to do a mash-up of this and the next Bolt song in fact, and see what happens. Oh my god, it actually works rhythmically. You should collab with the Bolt, your voice barely peeks through it and it works lyrically and melodically even. Good work Ross Boltand!

'Over - I was feeling a Grandaddy vibe, but now it's a little more G. Love on the ol' riff. I like this instrumentation, key change is well-done, but the vocals seem a bit deflated. But I'll tell you what doesn't sound deflated. The muh fuckin' BOLT. Also, this goes on like forevvs. But this Bolt track comes in, burns the village, and gets out.

Stubby Phillips - God sent a storm to cleanse the world of music. And verily it was named Bolt.

THC - Really nice work on this one. I hardly even did anything, but good work with the little whatever I wrote for this. Big ups on making the "protagonist" or whatever a man. Makes it much weirder. Also, the voice on "HE'S COMING BACK" is almost Bolt-worthy even.

Carole Cleveland Kings - Pretty excellent vocal switchups on this. Like, I'm into it. Short, sweet, like the Bolt. Except the track you're up against is actually 6 minutes long and is my favorite one. Hmmmm. I suppose when the Bolt beast lumbers by, your song will be well-camoflauged as it is in an entirely different idiom. But still, you should hear this fucking riff.

comfort - Something happened between the first entry of yours I heard and this one. Anyway, video game music central. Though the Bolt snaps this song in twain while it chugs up the mountain. But I was rooting for your song in a weird way.

Dark Liberty - The opening is like the Pixies' "Caribou" alternative take. Anyway, feel that sting in your back meat? That's the Bolt, tearing you apart.

The Big Swell - Where is all the air in this balloon. In a Bolt song perhaps? Let me listen and find out: ah, yes, there is all the air.

Corn on the Cob - Nice dexterity on that guitar playing. I mean, not Bolt-like dexterity. But, it's cute. Bolt Bolt Bolt, these reviews are almost over.

The Divorce - Nice bass-playing. Oh wait, I was listening to the BOLT! No, but seriously, this has a verra nice sound to it. I like the percussion lots. I imagine strobe lights and hair in your face while you sing this. Also, Xiu Xiu fan right? I think you're the one who was talking about them. Anyway, the Bolt still kicks everybody's ass in this fight. But, you know, whaddya gonna do.
