6. C. Hack
"Cellar Door", "My Exhibitionist Firefly DVD", "Can't Take Our Love Away", "A Promise Is A Promise", "Ballad Of A Porn Merchant", and the unfinished one (also untitled?) with the R&B and the falsetto and the making of the love all night long. It would be nice to use one that you're playing guitar on, and I will say that near the end "Promise" gets a little warbly, but it's your choice between the lot. If you would like, I can put in both short songs (Firefly and CTOLA).
7. Roymond
"Die For Me" has some loud pops when you say hard "p" sounds (the opposite of sibilance, I forgot what it is), but there aren't many and they're just a little startling. No big deal in my opinion but maybe you feel differently. (ARGH! iMovie just crashed and I lost all my neat little clip separations. CURSE YOU STEVE JOBS!) "Feathers" is fine, words a little hard to hear, but hey, it's rrrrrock musick. And there's Fluffy grabbing Jeff's ass on camera. Can you say "Bonus Features?" So I guess it's between the two. I hope you have a preference because I'd have a hard time picking between them, they're equally worthy and very different.
8. Future Boy
"Brown Boxes", "I Want To Get Better" (the best family fun since Disney's "The Lion King"), "Keep In Touch", "Bullseye Girl", "Method Of Delivery" and "Tank Top" all went off well; flubbed a lyric once or twice on BB and TTG. (Excuse me while I go torture this man to death who is revving his ride-on lawnmower or moped or something outside my window.) And then there's "Soft Orange Glow". To be honest, the harmonies are a bit sketchy in places, but still. You did one of the longer sets so I can put in two songs as long as one or both are short.
9. Raised By Wolves
"Postcard", "Wrecking Ball", and a song I'm not familiar with ("Invisible", maybe?). If you have no preference I will use the last one, just need to know the title. All three are good though, let me know if you prefer another.
10. The Sober Irishman
(ARGHHHH! THOSE JACKHAMMERING MEXICANS JUST DON'T QUIT! Boy do I hate Mexicans, I mean, gee whiz! Mexicans. What's up with that? You know? I do love Taco Bell, though. Anyway, back to business.) "Cold Cold Sweat" features Jeff having a seizure on the octagonal dance floor near the end - NICE. "Danger Bus" was kind of a Danger Train Wreck. "Pass Or Fail" is fine except for every time you slow down, speed up, change time signatures, or otherwise fuck with Ken. "Hope You're Okay" is good, and "Driving" was a lot of fun but I ran out of tape in the middle of the song. So it's between HYO and CCS. There was another song in your set but I'm afraid I was scarred for life by a certain incident which will go unmentioned. By "unmentioned", of course, I mean "into bonus features".

Hey, I'm singing. Or something. Actually sound angry and gruff. Thanks for allowing me to reflect. Who's that cool whacky band?

Yeah, that lead guitar is off the hook.

There are lighting problems during "Crossroads" but the audio side of things is fine. "The Jig Is Up", "Motor Psycho" and "Hey Ruth" are all fine, although "Hey Ruth" ending not as tight as the others. The announcement about pizza? That rocked. I totally ate some of that pizza. "What's In It For Me?" is the strongest of the set, in my opinion, but I'll go with whichever you prefer.
I don't know what everybody else in LD thinks, but if "What's In It For Me?" came out strongest, I think you should use that. I don't remember the pizza announcement but it sounds like another good "deleted scene" perhaps.

But the bass guitar needs to be shot.

Does anyone have any opinion on this? I'm leaning toward the Firefly and CTOLA suggestion.

Just FYI, before I can finish the editing, I need replies from a few people to whom I've sent PMs recently (about song titles, graphics, etc.). When Friday rolls around I'll just start making things up.

So things have eased up considerably for me these days and I was reminded by Craig to get up the mini-disc recordings for all you SFers who participated in the SF Boston on Saturday to listen to what I got recorded.
I also just recently purchased a UAD-1 card that has some awesome mastering plugins, so I went ahead and mastered the recordings. This may not be ok with some of you, but I thought it sounded great. I added a titch of plate rev from the card along with a compressor and limiter to get the levels up. (The levels were low on the Mini Disc to accomodate the dynamic range. There is some noise on it, but I think it sounds great.
Unfortunately my MD for the third set with the Live fight got kicked over and I lost all that when I got back to Toronto. I'm just rendering the files now to mp3 format at 160 kb. I'll be uploading to the server soon and I'll post a link here for you all that are interested in hearing it. Couple of performances got cut off, but there is still some real gems of performance. "Mad City" by Boltoph, a pretty nervous rendition of "Save a Pony from a Glue Factory" by me on behalf of redcar with built in storm effects, great versions from Starfinger and Octothorpe. I'm sure there are more that I'm forgetting, but I'll have them up soon. Probably by tomorrow. It'll take that long to upload them to the server. It's just one long concert, so you get the banter in between. I'll try to make it a bit easier on you and cut them to performance and kill the banter. It's worth listening to though for some of the cutting fun.
If anyone wants there own versions in 24 bit 48 khz wave files I'll be happy to somehow get them to you. PM me or leave a message in this thread. Peace.
Oh ya and the jazz I'd be happy to master whatever has come off the camera for you to give to various fighters mastered and all.

I feel like such an ass using this as an excuse for delays twice on the same project, but it looks like my laptop's hard drive may have died again.* I have one more thing to try tomorrow before I decide to send it back to the repair shop. Of course, all the data is safe and sound on an external drive so the worst case scenario is that I have to wait a week for Berklee to reopen so I can use their facilities. But with luck I'll be able to backup some stuff, reformat, reinstall, and get it working again tomorrow.
*Before anyone makes any "Macs suck!" comments, I should mention that it died right in the middle of installing Windows via Virtual PC.

That isn't Windows' fault, buddy. But don't worry, it is offset by the WIN PC drive I lost this October.
I'll have art for you tonight, so I won't use this as an excuse to deliver. Need anything else?

The Jazz : Um, I'm not really sure which song/songs of mine you should go with. I recall Keep In Touch being OK except for some flubbing on the marimba solo, same for Bullseye Girl. I'm downloading the audio tonight, so I guess I'll give a listen and come back with a more definitive answer.
