Maybe he means you're not the only one putting in 'hours of work.'
Maybe he means you're also not the only one who gets short, rude reviews from time to time.
Maybe he means you should take comments on your work from anonymous online identities with a grain of salt, and that being so upset about one person's opinion that you stop making music while in the same paragraph stating that you don't care about anyone's opinion is kind of silly.
?????.

Flame me if you want, I don't give a chit. I'll make music when I want to, and no one else's opinions mean a pile of dog feces right now.
Have a nice day.

rone...seriously shake it off man, if you dont like bad reviews what are you doing in songfight? bad reviews arent the end all to everything, if you respect the people reviewing you then you will work on the points they bring out, if you think the people who are reviewing you are morons then dont change a thing, regardless you cant whine ( i learned this my first fight when blue ripped me a new one ). nobody likes a crying baby, but at least you could earn some respect by giving respect, standing up for yourself while at the same time understanding that not everyone in cyberspace is your father scolding you
be true to yourself, but take flak by either proving them wrong or really trying to understand the viewpoint. your song isnt good this week, in fact its scares me, but not all your songs will be bad, not all will be good...and a prostitute gets paid but she's still unhappy and diseased. my advice is forget about getting paid, focus on the music you dig, and have fun.

Thanks for the frisbee is on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music ect.

I think you misunderstand why I'm upset.
I'm not upset because I got bad reviews. I always get bad reviews. And besides I wasn't pointing out the reviews for the song that said they didn't like my vocals or the ones that didn't like my music style. I pointed out the one that gave everyone else but me a review and gave me "Ack." It isn't a bad review that makes me upset, it's giving everyone else the respect of a review and then giving me "ack". That's not critisism, that's just utter disrespect.
That's all I have to say about that, flame wars in forums are pointless.

From spoken word to actual singing, I can screw up any style with style.

It is criticism, maybe not criticism that you like, but it's a criticism, alright. On the other matter, you clearly feel your song deserved respect but it is worth bearing in mind other people may not agree with that sentiment.Rone Rivendale wrote:That's not critisism, that's just utter disrespect.
Finally, what makes you think you deserve a flame war?

I would almost like an "ack." review. because rattpoizon tastes bad 8)
I guess that would be uck though. Remember those green "Mr. Uck" sticers? those were cool. I wish there was a "Mr. Uck" emoticon. I'd use it right now. but there isn't

next time sober is in a fight you are reviewing, you'll know exactly what to say!Rone Rivendale wrote:I think you misunderstand why I'm upset.

Re: Art
That is an incorrect analysis. There is NO consideration given to the order in which the art is submitted. Often, there is only one option for each fight, if that. If there are multiple submissions, I try to spread it around between the submitting artists as much as possible. I must admit that due to his years of community service and excellent work, bortwein does have something of an inside track when he submits.Gemini6Ice wrote:It seems that FMs have just been picking the first art submitted lately...

Re: Art
Then: oh. I mean, it wouldn't be unfair to give the first submitter extra points, since others can see that the art isn't lacking for a fight in question.Spud wrote:That is an incorrect analysis. Do you try to spread it out overall or just on a weekly basis?

Pretty much for the week, I would say, but I must admit there is not a lot of logic to it. Most weeks, however, there aren't that many choices, so it would be hard to go for a bigger strategy. If bort submits, he gets in, out of respect for his many, many months of consecutive submissions. Pretty much the same for the Hales as well.
