I'm in - Half a Stone posted

Please no one accuse me of a bad Tom Waits impersonation. I've had a bad cold all week - hence my vocal performance is a touch on the phlegmy side. Luckily it's the sort of song where it doesn't really matter - in fact I think it actually helps.

Also, I've found a (short-term) solution for my vocal hissing problem of last week. I just turned up the guitar distortion and drowned the bastard out. Problem solved.

Threw in my "Half A Stone"; low-fi, low-budget.

Myself and Gareth (gduncan), The Likely Lads are in the Half A Stone fight, we recorded the tune yesterday.

I've just had another listen to the entry I've posted for this week, and I'd just like to announce that in my opinion, it's about 27 billion times better than anything I've ever entered before. I've impressed the hell out of myself this week.

I should catch colds and lose my voice more often.
