Erin and I want to go to the LA show, and perform in it in some capacity. If there's time for a Tiny Robots or Merisan set, that would be cool.

I got a note from The Hand Puppets and sn SF show is in the works for Tuesday the 27th. Also, they would like to be referred to as "The Hand Puppets" on all literature.

The Hand Puppets vs. Sockpuppet? Oh ho, a fight to the death.

Well, it would be if they were on the Portland/Seattle part of the tour. Oh well.

Anyway like I said elsewhere, any of the tracks on sockpuppet.us would be fine for use as a sample. 'Birds Of Our Own' is probably the most representative of the Sockpuppet live experience, even if it's totally multitracked. http://sockpuppet.us/songs/birds_of_our_own.php

A little irish pub with good sound and a comfy atmosphere in the middle of the nightlifey part of town. The pictures on the website don't do it justice... it's much grittier. No chicken wire around the stage though, heh.

And in other news, what I know I can get my hands on for the venue:

2+ guitar amps
bass amp (the one used @ SFL-SC)
a whole mess of mikes & mikestands (above & beyond what's already at the venue)
drum kit

Unsure if I can get my hands on a keyboard, gots to ask around.

What else do I need to have available for those travelling light? Requests, anyone?

Not to get ahead of ourselves here. But any idea how long of a set we should be planning for?

I figure it might different at different venues depending on teh number of performers.

Spud - any room left on the Seattle bill? I just saw this thread regarding the live show. I haven't talked to the other Klownholers, but we might be able to do it if theres space on the bill.

Listening to the "Get A Life" fight at the bar I frequent, from the opening bars of your entry, the bartender she said "Damn, this rocks". (My own entry was politely ignored, heh...) So you've got the strip club employee vote, and that's always good.
