should we explain in our email how we made the percussion noise, or is the end result all you care about?
I don't see any reason to make it easy for the judges. It's their challenge - let them work it out. Let's see which of them is good enough to determine whether the feathers being lightly scraped across Caravan Ray's naked buttocks are being paradiddled, or merely diddled.

Hey, if you do that now, what are you gonna do for next week's non-optional back door action challenge?

Buy a large canister of astro-glide. Or is that Aussie-glide?

Yes for the Nur Ein. No for Round Zero.

Round Zero is no frills.

You should reconsider this. Because I think I blew my whole creative wad on (G)round Zero.

I'm happy to say that I'm 95% done and thank you for pushing me to try new things (non-conventional percussion), that otherwise I'd never try. I ended up really getting into it, so I had to get really creative with studio FX and those wonderful free plug-ins to keep it from getting too cheesy. This is the first time in a long time that I feel I hit a new level, and I love it. Lets hope the Jury does too.

Oh, absolutely. Round Zero will appear on the Songfight forum but not on the Nur Ein site as Round Zero is the battle to get into the Nur Ein.

wiki.pedia wrote:Aussie-glide: "Aussie" brand personal lubricant, used in a range of intimate applications.

Recipe
1 liters of sap from an Australian Tea Tree (Leptospermum laevigatum) is mixed with 2.5L of crocodile urine in a wok-shaped pan with a wide base, and allowed to reduce by evaporation over the course of 1 week. The thick floral/ammonia smelling substance (often reported to smell like hops used in brewing beer) is then boiled and left to sediment for 1 month in a large steel drum. The viscous water-soluble supernatant is taken and bottled as "Aussie" brand aussie-glide.

As a byproduct, the leftover sludge-like precipitate is highly flammable and when dried into a brick after the addition of powdered metals can be used as dry fuel for fireworks that leave a long trail of sparkling colors, with the exact color depending on the nature of the metal added.
Interesting. Doesn't sounds very 'glidey' though.

Wow ... a wave of inspiration just hit me, and it's done. Hopefully the mix will be good enough when I listen again, but it's me so don't count on it.

Well, I got my vox done. They didn't quite come out the way they sounded in my head, lol. A few last touches, and I'm done.
