Oh don't hate those M, that's good stuff there. I don't want to keep gushing over you but I dig where you go with your music. Thanks for sharing.
Also: Is that a hospital bed you zoom off in? That's gotta be a scary ride.

Sadly, no! My buddy with the video camera only stayed for my set -- which was too bad 'cause there was a lot of cool stuff played that night. For this next go-round, I want to make a concerted effort to get my hands on a camera that will stick around for the whole show.

Oh, that's the soapbox derby car that
Vladmir and I made for the
PDX Adult Soapbox Derby. It doesn't look very sporty, but I was pretty proud of its mechanics! It had cable steering and coaster brakes. It was a pretty lux ride, as derby cars go. Version 1.0 nearly killed Vlad, though. (Seriously -- it sent her to the ER.) Version 2.0 worked like a dream, though. Our top speed was clocked at 24 miles per hour down the "track" at Mount Tabor.

Life of Ronald
A couple friends and I (including Jeff Travis Henderson) filmed this short film the other night, and I finally put it all together today. I did most of the filming, as well as the old man puppet's voice. I hope you enjoy it.

good camera work, Reist.
the entire time i was like why didn't he do some cropping off the film, to make it more real? but the ending reveal why.

Thanks, dude. I hope you enjoyed it.
Did you like the well-timed "slip-up" in Ronald's monologue?

Pretty good Andrew. That was chuckle worthy.

Hey Andrew, I have Vegas 7 here at work and last night I couldn’t help but re-crop/pan that video of yours, to the way I wanted to see it.
Just though it would have a better effect, if you had zoom thigh around the characters to try and cut out any human surroundings.
Then at the end zoom out, for a more dramatic effect. Also added some sound-fx I had laying around. so i got this 20mb mov:

Cool. I was wondering how you would cover up that slip in Ronald's monologue, but it looks like you pulled it off. I gotta get me some editing software that's capable of cropping.

Ok, I finally figured out how to get my first ever music video uploaded without raping the quality too bad. The sound quality isn't as good as the original, but not terrible.

I don't know what aspce ration is and neither does google, lol. But you say elongated, so I'm guess the width. Maybe my vid program tried to make a wide screen out of a regular screen, just guessing.

Yes aspect ratio. I was too tired and weary to care if I’ve typed straight on that last post.
i actually found your second “For you” video a lot more entertaining, BLT.
All the randomness and trippy effect kept my attention longer.
Here’s another video from me, for a very personal song I wrote last year; and I had this video in my head the entire time.
I’m usually camera shy, but I’ll sacrifice myself for art this time around.
Inspire by crappy college art, random French movies,
and all those minimalistic black and white music videos the replacements did back in the 80s.

next up in the MV list: is JB, LML, or B Ellison.

I enjoyed making it more also. I really taxed my software on the For You vid. It must have really used a lot of computery juice or something with all the FX. The pictures were scrolling smooth, but by the time I rendered it, they were glitchy. I thought it was a cool effect how I'd use a still shot, then give it an old film look that was kind of jittery. it made the still look like it was in motion. Video editing is fun, but that 4 minute video took me a long time to make.
by the way, dre, I really like your new vid. Very artsy. The time mark running at the bottom is a great visual with the slow pace of the film. I like contrasting things like that.

On a blitz of creativity I made a video for Project-D cover of Turpentine he did for GOM 2007. So here it is.
Apparently not only am I an awful singer, but am a worst lip singer.
