On the same note I was thinking last night about how smooth the internet play was on Mario Kart for the Wii... you don't notice the difference between playing local and playing against people in Japan or wherever. Not sure how they manage that...

@Fluffy and this. This is awesome! I'm sure that in no time there will be a program or something in the circuitry that gets rid of the lag. They already have it for real music, so why not for fake game music.

You realize there's just a slight difference between networked streaming audio and the zero-latency audio circuitry on your sound card, right?
