Sorry this isn't 48 hour notice, but I'm doing a frenzy (whether or not anybody else shows up) at 10AM MST tomorrow morning. I'm sure this doesn't work for anybody, but there's funeral stuff going on at my place constantly this week so I need to use the small time frames I've got to their max potential.

You know the rules. frenzy at ummband dot com if you enter, preferably 160 kbps and submitted by 12:05 my time (that gives you two hours and five minutes) and ... go!

When you found out you were the only entry, you should have postponed the frenzy another day or two and then entered your song in there (un-edited).

What's the point of making up Frenzy's on the spot and winning them by being the only entry?

Ego much?
From spoken word to actual singing, I can screw up any style with style. :D

I hope you're not serious. I had a few free hours and thought I'd throw one together - if people wanted to enter, they could have. I'm glad I've got a new song, but if you're serious when you say my ego made me do it, that's just ridiculous.

Well, one thing you don't need to have for a one-band frenzy is a vote, I guess. ;)

Half serious? :P

I'm serious about it being a bad idea to put something together so brief that you are the only possible person who could have done it. I didn't even read the thread until the frenzy was hours passed over.

It's kewl that you got to put together a new song. But you could have done that without a frenzy and just put it in the listen to my song thread. It just seems like more self promotion than competition.

If I had done it without the frenzy it wouldn't be done until next week. Frenzies (to me) are for challenging yourself, and that's what I wanted to do. I had a small time frame to work with, so that's what I used. If you had the free time, you would have been free to join in.

ps - every song you make is self promotion. This just seems worse because it's on my own website.

For the record, I did know about the frenzy about eight hours before it started, I just couldn't join in because I had to pack for the week of vacation I'm having, starting in a couple of hours. :)

Like I said, I didn't even know about the Frenzy until it was already over. And I want to be a part of all of them if possible.

This whole thing would draw a bigger crowd if it was on the Song Fight! boards. It's kind of annoying to maintain a separate login... I really like the idea though.

Now that I think about it, I agree.
