Last year I got a whopping THREE songs done. I'm hoping to fare better this time around.

I'm very tempted. Time is an issue. And my still broken computer. I will think about it.

I'm thinking I'll see how many songs I can write for my dad in February. He just turned 89.

Jimmy Lincoln?

I'm finishing up a temp job project so I have time on my hands, while I'm at work. Anyone know a good 'virtual piano' site?

I wrote songs #1 and #2. But why am I reporting this here?

Is it just me or does the new lay-out of FAWM make it harder to find individual songs? Roymond, Ken, which names are you postin' under? A cursory glance and I couldn't see either of you ...

If you want, I could maintain a list here on the boards, so at least we can hear each others' stuff here. If people want to, pm me your links so far and I'll set something up.

I am there as I am here, but I haven't posted yet. I haven't check out the process and whether it's changed or not.

So far...

J$'s "Happy Anniversary": Very goth from the Cashpoint. I dig it. I'm currently considering a download. It's catchy. NIce little guitar riff in there. It works well.

Tonamel's "Garbage Day": I was blindsided by this after "The Darkest One". Very interesting. I don't know if this would get repeated plays on the ol' X-Tokyo jukebox but it's a fun listening. The bridge is the best part, without a doubt. Decent li'l tune.

Also in but nothing yet from: Jim Tyrell, Southwest Statistic, Roymond, Kill Me Sarah, Stueym, Cow Exchange, Bolio, Ken, MENBAH!, Mellified Man and Forkbomb!

If all these bands finish, March will be full of awesome new albums to enjoy.

Just to confirm: I am IN, but I haven't submitted yet. I've got three songs cooking. I was kind of hoping to get at least one recorded at one of my shows this weekend, but I don't know if any of them will be ready. It's the lyrics that are holding me up, as always.

Stueym's in... Atlanta? Somewhere like that, on some business training thing. He's taken a backpacker guitar and a teeny tiny recording dealio. So songs have probably been simmering, but won't get properly recorded until the weekend.
