Seriously? You are still telling people what to write about? After all that "agree to disagree" bullshit? Despite your claims to the contrary, it sure sounds like whining. If you asked me, (which I'm sure you wouldn't), I'd say be happy that people want to volunteer any of their time to listen to and comment upon your songs -- be grateful for whatever you get, instead of complaining about what they choose to care about or telling them what they ought to be discussing. That has been the running theme through this discussion, and yet you still are trying to instruct the reviewers.Alfredo wrote:Advice on mixing is totally fine, but when you make a review... just try to comment on the actual music as well.

All of you need to channel this energy into more songs. Go play with a guitar... or something.

This has gotten way out of hand, Eric is just arguing for the sake of it now. I don't understand how you can think that was telling people how to review? It was merely a request due to the fact that this site is divided into two types of listeners and maybe we should look at both sides. I already said that I appreciate all the reviews that I've gotten, including the mixing ones. It's not like I'm the only one who thinks its annoying when reviewers only look at mixing, others spoke out too... you are just taking small pieces of my argument and exploiting them. Why? I dunno... Is it because I got more votes than you last time? Despite my "bad" mixing... sorry that was low...

While we're talking about reviews, I'd like to point out that up until this moment, there's exactly one review (i.e. one reviewer writing something about one submission) in the current fight ("Dry Spell") that contains nothing but thoughts about mixing.
If that's the kind of ratio you guys get all worked up about, I don't want to know what would happen if there was actually a point to what y'all are saying.
