I'm starting to think I should have begun before today (yesterday).
Especially considering I've had my guest vocals since Friday.
I never learn.

The BeWells are in with a song uploaded and link sent. This round my sister Lindsay is providing guest vocals so we are back in true plural form. This was also the first time trying out the long distance collaboration approach (San Jose, CA to Nashville, TN).

Holy crap, how could you wait on that?

Probably because he can do it all the night before and still win immunity?

Unfortunately, on Friday, my son broke up with the girl that was going to be my guest vocalist. It figures, the day before we were set to record vox. It would have been my first female singer ever in the history of my music. She's really good too, so I'm bummed. She did offer to do the vox anyway, but she is really mad at Cody, (my son) over some trivial crap and wouldn't feel comfortable at our house. Of course Cody said he doesn't want her anywhere near our house. It was too late to get someone from here at the SF, so I had Cody do my back up vox, lol. He hates the sound of his voice, but I personally think he has a great voice. Unfortunately I couldn't get him to come out of his shell and break loose, and we were running out of time. So I had to do the best with what he would do and just blend it in with my voice the best I could.
I had fun with this song, but I had this whole girlie part written for the bridge to fit Itzel's style and voice. I tried it myself, but it sounded SO incredibly gay, (not that there is anything wrong with that of course) so I cut it. So you'll have to just enjoy the rock'n riffs in the bridge, lol. Life is full of twists and turns. Ahh, whatchya gonna do?

Itzel? Itzel Bitzel, the silent film star?

My sister's name is Itzel.

I call her *der wiener Itzel or Snitzel.
She's a very cute and sweet girl. I hate to say it, but my son is being the ass on this one. But I'm sure they'll work it out. They can't stand being away from each other for too long.

Der Wienerschnitzel is a hotdog fast food joint her in Cali, just in case you don't have one in your neck of the woods.

I chili dogged there many a time.
Is there any chance that she's 18 and you're rone rivendale's dad?

Not a cold chance in hell.
By the way, I almost wrote this weeks R3 song about that relationship thread Rone started. I actually did my usual punch list to grow a story.
No offense to you Rone, this was all in fun. You seem like a good man boy pig.
I don't want to get too far off topic here. Maybe I'll post my punch list in his abandoned thread.

I have another question about immunity. Not that it's really all that personally relevant, but I'd just like to understand it properly. Do you still win immunity even for winning round 5? That means that by winning round 5 you win a slot in round 7, the final one-on-one round? And so round 6 is really a fight between the three remaining non-immune contestants for the one available slot in the final fight? (Barring ties/close scores/etc.)

If this year is like
last year, immunity will be going away soon. During the first Nur Ein the winner of round 3 (Ross) did not receive immunity going into round 4.

I think I stated somewhere that we were doing immunity in rounds 1-4. I would look through and find it but it's a long thread and I tend to post a lot.

So the winner of round 3 does receive immunity?

I pass the buck to my absentee muse. Way to leave me high and dry, buddy; you owe me some overtime work.

I might as well ask for clarification before I get any ideas...does the challenge rule out other guitar-like string instruments? This sounds like the time to break out the keyboards and synths, but I also have a banjo, bouzouki, mandolin, and ukulele sitting around here.

guitar-like instruments are fine.

What if I take a couple strings off my acoustic and call it a uke? Or if I take a couple strings off, retune it, and double my part but with the notes originally played on the lower strings played an octave higher, and call it a mandolin?
