Tonetripper, if you want to send me a CD/DVD of the raw files, I'll mp3ize them for everyone.

Thanks c hack, for the recordings and the compliments!

I haven't posted since the show, but I should say I had a really nice time and enjoyed meeting all of you. It was fun.

Special thanks to Sam and Erin for giving me a lift into the city at 1 a.m. You're awesome.

Until next year....

Hey kids, just wanted to chime in that it was awesome seeing you folks again this year and awesome meeting new people. Currently I'm chillin with Jack Shite in Santa Cruz so all I offer as media is uncropped pics and a couple videos from my digital camera.

http://www.future-boy.net/sfl2005

A couple of the videos are really dark (like Starfinger's More Than Soup), so you should grab the cleaned up versions from mkilly's website.

I've got 20 movies, totaling about 100MB, which I'm hoping to post soon. Several of them are basically the same as some of FutureBoy's but from slightly different angles, so some person with some video editing skills and free time on their hands could maybe make a nice video that cuts between the two angles. Anyway, I'm putting them on a hard drive to take to work tomorrow. If I can get this USB drive to show up on my Linux PC I will upload the movies to my site then.

If some smart/nice person out there would like to mirror the files (or figure out how to properly use some free Web caching stuff) to ease the bandwidth usage on my site, that would be awesome.

Maybe this link will work with Coral cache?

(Btw, I didn't put all my photos up, because, well, there were a lot. And a lot were just of random people dancing. I put most of the ones that I took up though.)

Those videos are all I have. I would have more but I only remembered I could record videos late Friday night and didn't realize I had a decent amount of recording time until Saturday afternoon. Then I ran out of storage space Saturday night. Sorry to those of you I didn't get, or didn't get much of.

I hope to dump and review the tapes this weekend, and will let everyone know how they turned out. My prediction is that the Friday night sets won't have come out too well because I was still figuring out what the hell I was doing, but the Saturday night sets should sound fine and hopefully what I got of the acoustic sets will turn out well also.

I'm uploading my pictures (I think there are 38 of them) to the gallery. So whenever they're approved they should show up.

Bortwein, I put in the link to the full size version of the picture of FutureBoy wearing the Explino! t-shirt.

EDIT: Pictures approved! I realize now though that a few of them are basically duplicates of some of Bjam's, but whatever...

I uploaded them to the gallery too, I think.

Jazz, I'm still waiting for at least a sound feed. I really want to hear what I sounded like.

Well, some bad news, although not so bad - I'm not certified to use the edit suite at SCAT so I need to buy an external HD and borrow someone's camcorder to do the capturing. Bad news for me because I have to spend $$, bad news in general just because it will take longer that way.

Are you certified to borrow a video recorder from SCAT again? I could probably do the capture for you then.

That's what you get when you don't use a flash, a real 35mm film camera and 800 film. [/filmsnobbery]

heh. I think they are quite good too. I just wish I wasn't quite so shy on the Saturday, so that I could've taken more. I was on a pretty slow shutter speed as it was. The C Hack, BZL and Jim Tyrell pics were all taken after the show outside the bar where we had beer and burgers. The mini disc recordings will be up soon. I promise by the end of the week.

Sorry dude.... I changed it all over the place even the pic name itself on my server. It's hard to remember everyone in such a short span of time and you know the short term memory loss and so forth.

Cheers.
