HEY ! I am SO PSYCHED to be doing this, guys ! I have made a Songkick Festival if anyone wants to add it to your Bandcamp:

it's a really cool thing you can do to make Bandcamp automagically show all your upcoming shows, by using Tourbox. I had to add a lot of you as new artists but it just puts the name, if you want you can go and add photos or links or whatever. also a few of your names were already on there but I didn't double-check every single one of them, so sorry if I got the wrong artist. already had to make Lunkhead (US) because there's apparently a Japanese artist named LUNKHEAD.

What is the process for making corrections to this listing? There are numerous errors/corrections.
The official name of the event is Song Fight Five and Twenty, not "Planes & Refrains" (Title in Flux). The artist names in the "Schedule" are more official than those in the "Lineup", some of which are simply the artist's Board Handle, not their Band Name or Real Name.
There are no tickets. The place to go for more information is songfight.org, not the venue's website. It is unlikely that there will be any more information on the venue's website, as they don't normally post about events.

sure, I can fix all that. I know there are no tickets, that's just what Songkick defaults to. not sure if there's a way to indicate no tickets. Regarding the artist name on the line up, I was hoping that people would tell me what they wanted it to say. this was really just intended as a placeholder event so that LWRG could get the info about the show sent out to our mailing list/Bandcamp. but I'm happy to update all the other info to everyone's satisfaction.

I'm psyched too! Glad to see other folks having enthusiasm about it, that's rad!
And oof, yeah, me circa 2003 did not think to check for existing "Lunkhead" musical acts out there. I probably had no idea that name would "escape containment" from songfight.org. Then I think somebody told me about the Japanese band pretty early on but I decided I didn't care.

On a related note, who would be interested in a barbecue afterparty-ish thing the afternoon of the 10th at my place? For all the stragglers who just couldn't get enough of Seattle and such.
I'm in White Center although I know better than to post my address online where Internet creeps can find it (I'll send a PM to folks who are interested instead).

I'm just glad we've gotten a little rain today and will probably get a little more tomorrow. Things were getting SUPER dry here.
Also even when it does rain in Seattle it's more like a gentle mist or a light drizzle, and not the torrential downpours that people expect. You can bring an umbrella if you want but people will look at you funny. A hoodie is a much better choice (and more practical anyway).

The Bend+Denver crew will arrive tomorrow evening, WA I-5 corridor traffic willing. (Pray for us!
) At least some folks from our AirBnB will be going to Spud's at some point, but maybe not till more like 7-8pm.
