Sure you Golden State fans were in love with him during the playoffs, but just wait until he dives into the stands throwing punches at fans or gets into an altercation outside of strip club at 3 am and fires his gun into the air and gets hit by a car or starts popping off in the media about how everyone blames him for losing in the playoffs thus effectively alienating him from his teammates or........

Oh heck, why spoil it? Half the fun of having that guy on your team is not knowing what stupid ass stunt he'll pull next.

dude, stephen jackson has been nothing short of a saint since his arrival in oakland. he brought the warriors a level of thugness they did not have, and desperately needed, and for that i am grateful. that toughness got them to the second round of the playoffs, kicking the best team's (and the league MVP's) ass in the process.

you guys got the dunmurphy. bay area fans rejoiced at our good fortune at finding a dupe willing to take not one but both of them. seriously, me and my office mates literally high fived each other upon learning the news of their imminent departure. not one but both!!! and their fat bloated contracts!!

i would have been happy with draft picks for those clowns, but instead we got 2 guys who wanted out of indiana (gee, you never hear anyone wanting that...) who have taken their game up a notch in a system they flourish in.

anyways, i think most of the world outside of the state of indiana knows who got the best of that trade, and who watched the playoffs from home.

They played a great extended version of Buenos Tardes last week in Hartford...not to mention four from my favorite album, the Mollusk, as well as Baby Bitch, Exactly Where I'm At (the opener) and the show was packed solid with funny faces by Deaner. Smoking butts on stage and the whole nine.

dean makes the absolute best guitar face in the world. when you can see it. usually, he bends over and plays almost upside down most of the time so you can't see his face, but when you get the rare glimpse, it's priceless...

-is there really any need for a comma in the first sentence and if so, wouldn't it be AFTER the word 'where'?

Realizing that I knew very little about Theremin, I decided to read up just now. What an interesting guy. This little tidbit especially intrigued me.

Theremin invented the first covert listening device (or "bug") to use passive electromagnetic induction to transmit an audio signal. Theremin's design made the listening device very difficult to detect, because it was very small, had no power supply or active components, and did not radiate any signal unless it was actively being powered and listened to remotely. Theremin's device was embedded in a carved wooden plaque of the Great Seal of the United States. That's an interesting story. I think if you go to the NSA museum you can see a similar thing (or maybe it's even the same one). I keep meaning to go, but its hours suck.

I think Wreckdom has done some SF entries with theremin, but I couldn't tell you which ones.

That reminds me of a story... some years ago I was playing Balderdash with my sister and her husband, and the word "theremin" came up. I thought, "oh good I know this one" and wrote down the definition for the word. When the definitions came out, the game designers said it was "An electronic keyboard invented by Leon Theremin" and I was irritated.... there's no keyboard!!! I didn't realize before then that they were wrong sometimes...
