<u><b>Minty Handy :</b></u> This Stands out from rest of the fight like a small shinning jewel, in the corner behind the palm tree. so simple, so sweet, so catchy. an ukulele, some keys, smart lyrics, and the wife singing harmonies. i had to look you up in archives, and listen to some of your previous stuff. Enjoyable.
your singing sounds very natural, and very Collin like. (That guy from the Decemberists). you sir got my vote.

Man i usually don't dig your style...but you got me with this one. Very smooth laid back music, with great visual story telling lyrics. not sure why u decided to drag it out towards the end there without adding anything to the mix, either way you have my vote.
<u><b>Glenn Case :</b></u>
Glenn's the Man. another great tune, with solid production. the only thing about this that erkks me, is the super thin acoustic you use from time to time on some of your songs( if not all).. is very bright.. and has no warmth to it. The electric guitar counters balance this through out this song, but not all the time. Lovely lyrics.
<u><b>Jacobe Lynn :</b></u> highly enjoyable. Deserves a full band treatment. Bass, drums, keys... would make it super duper awesome.

Dude! your sound is so SoCal! I like it. Surfs up. Your vocals are a bit strain and the song drag on for about 30 second more than i wanted to hear. top 6.
<u><b>Thank Glennny For The Frisbee :</b></u> Big fan of your stuff now. Unfortunate i feel this song got over produce, and it muffles the charming quality of voice and lyrics.

LUKE ROCKS... your lyrics never let me down, always interesting, dark and folky. Whished it was a better mix. Equalize the bass on the guitar a bit down, and bring the vocals up.
<u><b>Ryan Rickenback :</b></u> Another good tune from Ryan. exploring some extra additional chords, would have helped.
can't help but compare it an album i absolutely love called "Spare Change" by Luther Russell.

early/mid 90's power pop rock at its finest. not that much lyrical content here, enjoyed the music though.
<u><b>Wagaco :</b></u> the engaging intro really gets me into the song quick. good overall guitar work, and tone, with matching wages vocals. wished the bass and drums where a bit more creative....as their just really just following along to the guitar... boring... even though this can consider riff rock, it could use a change or two. not bad overall.
<u><b>Melvin :</b></u> your songs might be growing on me, as i actually enjoyed this... and can see what you were going for here. very Christian rock indeed. Amen.
<u><b>Mico Saudad :</b></u> nice, soft and jazzy. doesn’t really build up into an explosion of music like i was expecting.. oh well. Sounds like it nice exercise none the less.

heard better recordings from less than 3, or <3... which ever you were before. Vocally you hit the high notes very well.

I hear the 30 seconds too long thing a lot it seems. I guess I need to rethink my standard format that I like to use. Do you feel if I didn't do my non related intos that I so love, that it would time out right, or is it just the endings of my songs not ending when you feel they should? I'm terrible at taking other peoples advice, but this has come up too many times to ignore.

My opinion is they're fine they way they are, but if you were to cut anything it'd be the endings, certainly not the cool intros.

I appreciate that Glennny. I tend to repeat the chorus twice at the end of most of my songs, so that might be the place to start snipping it down.
I think that people that don't know my music or don't know what to expect have a hard to with my intros. Partly because I like to set the intro volume a little lower then the song and people turn up their volume and when the song kicks, it's blasting, LOL.
I like to think of my format like this. The intro is like someone in the office is having a birhday and everyone gets cake, but you can't help but notice how big the cake is and everyone is singing happy birthday while you are thinking how you want a nice big piece and you want to lick the candles when they pull them out. Then as you're smiling and thinking about your piece of cake...BAM! Carmen Electra jumps out of the cake nekkkid and starts throwing Doritos at you! Public service announcement: Carmen Electra was used in this reenactment because she's the only celebrity that would work with the Dorito's bit. You may replace Carmen Electra with anyone that you'd like to see jump out of a cake nekkkid.......except Rosie O'Donnell.

Believe it or not, I'd never heard their music, so I popped over to their website to check. They now have a new fan, and not only am I flattered by the vocal comparison, but the few songs I've heard so far sound exactly like I hear my songs in my head (but have no idea how to get into a recording.) Thanks for turning me on to them!

Hopefully people will be saying in years to come, "they don't have fights like the Georgia's hand fight any more" or rather "wow, all these fights are almost as good as that one".

I have to check out those other fights from top to bottom, but this was the best one I've known (basically the year 2006).

Wagaco - What's not to like about "Play it Paco"? If I had realized that Paco was going to do a great solo, I would have omitted the vocal part after the 2nd chorus which I just made up to fill the space. I have always been, and I'm still undecided about my "oos" and "ahhhs". Anywho, thanks for the great reviews!

Those Meddling Kids - Nice vocals. I really like your song. It gets better the more you listen too.
