Great list Glenn. Help! will be fun (I've perfomed this a lot it turns out)
I would have Said Klownhole for "Helter Skelter" - or maybe "I Want You (She's so Heavy)"

So I have recorded the music for my cover, a distorted organ thing that sounds quite cool, but if one of the SF community with a real drum kit had some time over the next couple of days to do their best Ringo impersonation, it would be very much appreciated and would undoubtedly improve the song. You don't have to be a virtuoso - Ringo wasn't - frankly the simpler the better, just needs a nice pop feel to set off the words.
I have a rough instrumental mix recorded to a clicktrack on line, so if anybody wants to help me out it would be fantastic. Let me know here or by PM and I'll send you a link. If not I'll go back to the drum machine. Oh yeah, my cover's only just two minutes long so hopefully it won't eat into your free time too much.

Funny - I seem to recall that I remember reading somewhere Lennon saying that was his favourite song. I suppose I was disremembering. Alcohol does that. It is one of my favourite Beatles songs, anyway.j$ wrote:You know, maybe now's the time to make a confession which might explain a lot - I have never knowingly heard 'Revolver'. sounds good enough for me! If someone furnishes me with an mp3, I'll do it!
I suppose I could go out and buy the record, but that cover's always been a bit too hippy for me to be seen out with
