It does nothing to solve the umlaut problem...
in that case, why not just call yourself Reach For The Skyler.Reïst wrote:I'm thinking Nur Ein should be the way to break out my new name - Reïst in Peace. Or is that too lame?
Well, you have to break a few eggs to make an umlaut...Spud wrote:It does nothing to solve the umlaut problem...

I'm surprised that you pronounce your name that way. I thought for sure it would be like rice. Hey, what do I know?Reist in Peace

I assume you are referring to me, although I don't get the reference at all. If I remember correctly, I took the immunity because I was leaving for Spain and wasn't going to have access to recording equipment and whatnot. This may not be entirely true and I may have simply been too lazy to write and record the song and/or I was basking in the greatness of my No. 1 standing. I really don't know. Memory is not my strong suit.Caravan Ray wrote:As far as I recall - only one person has actually used their immunity and not done a song a particular week.erik wrote:So if someone has immunity for the next week, do they even have to do a song?
(I won't say who - I don't want to be seen as picking on them- though I do recall at the time, the term "big girl's blouse" was bandied about)
Actually, it's supposed to be pronounced R'ice't, but apparently we had to change it during WWII so we wouldn't get murdered. We pronounce it R'ee'st, but I figure I could trick people into pronouncing it like rest.Paco Del Stinko wrote:I'm surprised that you pronounce your name that way. But there are still better band names out there, methinks.
