Maxwell Smart once had to find a statue called the "Tequila Mockingbird" in an episode of "Get Smart".

Spider X

Backstory:

There's a few guys at my store who are in a hard rock cover band called False Pretense. They're in their 30's, and they're playing Iron Maiden, Metallica, etc. at biker bars and the like.

They just lost their singer, so they put a want ad in the big Dallas paper. Their audition process was to have people come out to their shows and sing for a few numbers, kind of like that rockstar/inxs thing.

This is, swear to god, the actual message he left on the guitarist's phone after breif email correspondence.

I'll probably be making heavy sample use out of this at some point.

That's fuckin' bad-ass and shit.

Seriously, now the rest of the day I'm going to have to end all my sentences with "and shit".

And shit.

I was just fiddling about with an on-line band name generator:
http://www.leonatkinson.com/random/index.php/band.html

and this was the list of suggestions it gave me:

1. PARALLEL STICK PERSON -FREETARD
2. MY FIVE CATCALLS
3. SPASTICATED DICKHEAD
4. BACKDRAUGHT -DELTOID
5. YOUR FRAGMENTS
6. SLUTY MISS BOB MARLEY
7. LEAF

I like number 3. Number 7 sounds a bit too Canadian.
