So...it only took me two months to get around to posting my unhelpful reviews. A lot of good stuff here. Anyway:
Niveous covers BSS - I like that you made this your own, but I think it goes a little to far. There are too many things that I liked about the original that have gone missing here.
Ross covers BLT - OK, you nailed this one. You've completely put your own stamp on this, but without losing the feel of the original. This would get a vote if it were a regular fight.
Tuuur covers Caravan Ray - This is a really well executed cover, but I wish there were more changes from the original.
Lonbobby covers The Idiot Kings - You made the intro so ominous - I like that. I'm enjoying this a lot...you've made it your own without killing the song.
Jan Kruger covers me - I already posted about this earlier, but let me reiterate that I love this.
Heuristics Inc covers Johnny Cashpoint - The vocals capture the original feeling of the song very well. I wish there was a little more of a departure from the original, though.
Jon Eric covering Jan Kruger - Nice work. I even kind of like the rap, which is hard for me to say.
King Arthur covers Jon Eric - It feels like you really reached in and found what the original song was trying to be. This would get a vote if it were a regular fight.
The Idiot Kings cover King Arthur - I didn't realize there was a pop song hiding in this one. Good job bringing it out.
Johnny Cashpoint covers Lonbobby - I like it, but I think it could stand to be played a little faster.
BSS covers Lord of Oats - I like this a good deal - the added harmonies are a great bonus to this song. This would get a vote if it were a regular fight.
Sockpuppet covers Sven Mullet - I know you just tossed this off to make sure Mr. Mullet didn't get hosed...and it sounds like it.
Minty Handy covers Sven Mullet - I don't think the instrumental version really does this one justice.
Sockpuppet covers Minty Handy - This makes me grin. I kind of wish you had added the vocals to the scratch track - I dug the instrumentation a bit more in that version.
King Arthur covers Niveous - The original felt a little too rough, and the cover feels a little too sterile. We need to find some middle ground.
Hoglen and Wages cover Octothorpe - I love this arrangement, but what's up with the last 45 seconds?
Caravan Ray covers Rabid Garfunkel - I don't know why, but I really want this one to rock out a bit more at the end.
Octothorpe covers Ross - Who is that guitarist? He's terrible!
I think there really needs to be a version of this with Mad Dog on vocals.
Rabid Garfunkel covers Roymond - I don't think there's enough variation here to carry it off as an instrumental.
LMNOP covers Sockpuppet - Sockpuppet as pop rock? Somehow it works...nicely done. This would get a vote if it were a regular fight.
BLT covers Wages - Rock! Great job of making this your own. This would get a vote if it were a regular fight.

Yes, what you said. Also, the fact that I had 6 weeks to work on it rather than just a couple of days went a long way. I actually had time to practice my leads before recording them and doubling them so that they sound better. In a regular fight, I can barely get one good take in, let alone two of everything.
