An interesting visualization of music sampling history, which began as a project for Golan Levin's information visualization class at Carnegie Mellon. By Jesse Kriss who designed the interface for eJamming for making music together over the internet in real time. She's done some very cool stuff.

Especially when you see the little "you suck" guy and can actually hear a clip of the band..heheh. Mean, mean stuff, but absolutely hilarious if you ask me. A tribute to delusions of grandeur, and such. Deep rooted comedy. I could post some of my favorites, but that would just be too harsh. I actually know guys in bands in some of these pictures...trying sooo hard to be "cool". heh. I find that site addictive, too. OMG "Disputed"!!!

If you use GreaseMonkey, don't miss out on Platypus. It's a "plugin" of sorts for GreaseMonkey that lets you create your own GreaseMonkey userscripts just by pointing and clicking on any Web page. It's rad.
