I have to chime in here and state that this would have been my vote. Although Weird and Wired is a great play on words and I fully support it.

I haven't been to one of these things in years and to be completely honest, I probably won't make it this year either. By the way, I keep meaning to look up accommodations in the area to share with y'all. Does anyone need help finding a place to stay? Will anyone need the spare bed or sofa in my house?

Future Boy and Marcus Kellis are both on the confirmed list (though Kellis isn't doing a set)

Marcus said he'd come by, but wouldn't play a set. Future Boy is psyched. Erik didn't give me a straight answer, but I'd be surprised if we saw him. Perhaps someone who's known him longer than I have might be able to convince him to overcome his reservations...

I also invited Seth (Brother Machine), and haven't heard anything back one way or the other.

Could those of you who are attending please let me know your schedules? Particularly, when you're arriving in Austin, and when you're leaving. It'll help me figure out when I can schedule things that aren't related to the concert.

I'll be arriving in Austin a little after noon on Friday and leaving around 1 on Sunday.

Luckily for me, if you wait long enough the price comes down

Flight is booked! In in Wednesday the 7th, out on Monday the 12th.

My girlfriend is coming with me, and we're planning on doing some touristing/visiting before and/or after the official Song Fight related activities. I'm getting excited!
