Yep. Our little Andy went to see Elton somewhere in Canuckland and Elton just happened to see Reist out in the audience and had one of his people ask Reist back to his room after the show for a "coke." Creepy as it may be, I just so happen to have a pic.

haha, thanks for the bday wishes guys. Being 20 isn't that different from 19 I find, but I guess it's cool to not be an official teen anymore. And BLT, I'm never gonna hear the end of the Elton John thing from you am I?

And to think that you decided to go in to a computer program designing career instead of the greeting card business. A shame, really.

The greeting card business needs some help, too. I was just looking for a birthday card for my 98-year-old grandmother, and all the grandmother-oriented ones were either pathetically saccharine (and expressed sentiments I wouldn't be caught dead even thinking in my grandma's direction) or were kind of mean-spirited "HA HA YOU'RE OLD" and which my grandma would definitely NOT have the requisite sense of humor to take correctly.

yeah the greeting card industry is blech. get a card without message inside then write your own middle-of-the-road greeting!

happy birthday to the tyrrell!

Yeah, I ended up just getting some generic birthday card with a picture of dancing penguins and no joke, and it just says "Happy birthday!" inside.

I always make my own birthday cards on printshop. My trade mark is on the back of the card, where I always use a small font that says, "why are you looking on the back of this card?" It always gets a chuckle.

Funny, why is that an almost normal thing for people to look at the back of a greeting card? Watch sometime you you give someone a card, they'll look at the back after they read it. Almost as if they are thinking, hmm, maybe it gets better. But it is depressingly not better.
So I make it better.
