Heh, very nice.
(Here's a kinda coolish I guess Bohemian Rhapsody story. My family were driving up to NYC for a weekend trip, and we always play good music when going through the tunnel into the city(it just makes it more exciting). We go up there quiet a bit, and we've had the Soviet Union national anthem, LOTR music, The Who and plenty other cool music playing as we go through. The best however, was playing "Bohemian Rhapsody" and my mum, dad, brother, and me all going into head banging at the exact same moment with no prompting. This is why my family is the coolest ever.)

The new Destroyer album is really quite good. There's this site, The Hype Machine, that aggregates mp3 blog posts:
http://hype.non-standard.net/
Painter In Your Pocket, Rubies, Your Blood, European Oils, Looters' Follies, A Dangerous Woman Up to a Point, they're all good. Really.

I love the Hype Machine. You might also wanna utilize

Elbows is a great little mp3 aggregator. It doesn't have the player that Hype Machine does but it does tell you before hand which links have expired.

Propagandhi - Potemkin City Limits
Not bad. Angrier and less hooky than their last (Today's Empires, Tomorrow's Ashes), which I thought was a great album. This one's still growing on me.

Wicked Wisdom's
"Something Inside Of Me" and
"Suffering"
Who knew that Jada Pinkett Smith (the lead singer of this band) was so damn angry. I feel sorry for Will. From the sound of this song, she could beat his ass. And they're playing Ozzfest???!!!!

Appleseed Cast - Peregrine. It's pretty cool but why they hell did they're drummer have to leave?! why is it always the most amazing drummers that give up early (Reni, anyone?)
Mew and the glass handed kites - it's like one long incredibly dense song

I am currently listening to the best band you haven't heard yet. They are from San Diego. They are my favorite band that I have found as a result of Myspace, and I freaking LOVE this album.

this is about my millionth post today I'm sooo bored
Right now? Suki by
Unrest. They never deserved to be as big as Pavement (as their main contemporaries) but they're still damn good
and lots of
Refused since
Chris showed me 'Refused are fucking dead'. they're one of those bands that were too good to have a sustained career. Y'know? burn bright and fast just like all my favourite proto-emo bands that ended up spawning all the scum of the earth €mo band$
oh yeah, and Pidgeon. they're pretty cool; I have
blue to thank for that. cheers blue

Matmos - The Rose Has Teeth In The Mouth Of A Beast. I think the Phunt Collective might like this. A classy collision of ridiculous art gestures (snails triggering theramins and recordings of semen hitting floor) locked to simple but effective electro-pop.
Scott Walker - The Drift. Christ!
