I actually have recorded a version of this, in the past. The world did not become a better place, as far as I could tell

I have total anxiety of influence when it comes to covering the best band in the world ever, but if I was to do a Slits song, it would be either 'Shoplifting' or 'New Town' actually. *Hums ... 'Ten quid for the lot, we payed ... F*CK ALL' to himself*

i'd just like to take this moment to state i hope i do NOT get either wreckdom's or calfborg's list, simply for the fact that it would be nearly impossible to choose ONE from such great songs.

also i am wondering: when is the deadline for signing up... i'm kind of hoping the assignments are made relatively soon, so as perhaps to allow something like two months to work on this before the holidays? like if the assignments were passed out on 10/25 or something and then the due date was like christmas? or hanukah or whatever...

The sounds just about right, Voice. Assignments will be given out on or close to 10/25. As for the exact due date, it's still up in the air. We can start debating that later.

boy, the choosing four songs part was really hard because there is such a wide range of people participating here, i'm sure i could probably choose a different song i'd like to hear from each person.......

I saw these guys live in Spokane on 02.21.04 at the B-Side. I won tickets, actually, but had never heard of them before that.

They put on an AMAZING live show, ESPECIALLY for a 3 piece band.

I almost put 'crumble' from their new album as one of my 4 choices.

They actually come back to Spokane this month, same venue. Needless to say I will be there.
