Gratuitous. Wife's working, my turn to do bedtime. We skipped stories and wrote a song instead. I'm very glad the title was about something she loves.

So my guitar's still going kinda crazy distorted, but at least you can, well,
kinda understand it. And the vocals are all messed in the bridge. And there's a "Hey jus-" at the end of my song. Grwghrgnfkf. I don't like 45 minute songs.

I hope you re-record it, Bjam because the tune is great - and the vocals are too. Just that guitar is ruinous! (although actually I quite like it, just don't imagine it was your intention!)
Starfinger is my own personal 'Best in (attack of the) show' although Hostess Mostess is almost unbearably cute (especially 'noooooo!'), and I loved Caravan Ray's (Amen! indeed) and MK's chinese mandolin action. Glenn's sounds great as usual, and there's something in the way the Boviner says 'ears disappear' that makes me happy. They are
all very cool and I liked them without exception (though now I know that I should never attempt a song with less than a two hour deadline. Though I said that after the last songskirmish too ....

If I ever decide to do an AAD just hit me until I become unconcious.

I think I'm going to have to do just that...an AAD is in my near future. Pitting one's self against the clock is a pretty cool thing.

The wonderful Marcus Kellis hosted the video I took(complete with shakey-cam and Bjam-laughs and StueyM-comments and brother-mockery). So ya'll be nice and right-click-save as it's like 67MB and will be a bitch otherwise. Someone with more knowledge than me could splice it or something to make it into bitesize pieces. Or the torrent will be avaliable soon, and you can suck it up and wait for that if you want non-shakey cam.

Enjoy
MK, if it kills your bandwidth just yank it and I can just e-mail/IM it to people that want it.

and I missed out on everything. Surely someone has my cell number?
Just kidding...this is highly awesome. Wish I was there but that's a given.
And I love that video. It's all the better for being hand held! Thanks Bjam

The "Prayer for Pancakes" had one loser, the title of which Phunt Your Friends graciously accepts. More like PHUNT NO ONE AT ALL!
Anyone know where I can host a song, so y'all can hear our too-slow attempt at songwriting?

To ease the burden on Marcus's bandwidth, here's a
torrent of the show in Real media format. (Note: video is probably not MPAA-friendly, and doesn't contain any Bjam laughs.)

Hi All,
Any chance someone can convert the show into something viewable in Windows Media Player? It's all I have at work.
Thanks,
Ken

I converted JB & Spud's segment of the show to AVI (though it's re-encoded from RM, so kinda crappy), and
threw it up on Putfile.com.

I like on the interview how JB has to be reminded that not all Songfighters are from the USA.
He's just like Prime Minister John Howard - Little Johnny sometimes forgets that we're all not Americans too.

Here's a direct link, mine wouldn't play in the embedded page:
