Hey Bjam, what are you doing posting? Shouldn't you be knee deep in an AAD?

The Miller household is a fun place to be at Christmas time. It's full of crazy traditions and waking up at stupid hours.
And you're not allowed to cover that song, because you're too young to be corrupted by the various explicit lyrics and whatnot. :) Shame, too, because it's hella funny.

But maybe I could reprise Trekkie Monster's showstopper what with being old wizened and impure of thought ;-)

My AAD's going surprisingly well. I have 15 minutes of songs already, and I'm only 5 hours in(even with an hour break for watching Martha and eating lunch) So I'm taking a break for a bit to get the rock muse rocking again.

I really wish I could play stuff by ear so I could join in the fun here. There are a lot of suggestions for which I can easily find sheet music or online guitar tabs or even midi files to use as a crib, but there's just too much chance I'll wind up with 4 songs that I can't find the chords to anywhere :(

Yeah, I'm the tonedeaffiest guy you'd ever want to push off a cliff, but I don't let that slow me down much. It's also pretty surprising just how much tab you can find online if you need to, and in case of emergency, I bet you could find someone to help out. You know, like, there must be a message board somewhere on the internet, populated by bored musicians.

thought about it some...here's my fo:

Pink Floyd : Free Four (because I love the irony of the music/lyrics)
Gary Numan/Tubeway Army: Are Friends Electric? (one of his finest pieces)
The Cult: Love Removal Machine ('cuz I cut my teeth musically on this tune)
April Wine: Say Hello (outdated token Canadianna, kickass song.)

All of these tunes could use a little updating. Looking forward to hearing it. YAY!

Man do I want to do this. I always love the products of GoM. I can easily get hold of a very nice electric guitar. I have an acoustic guitar, bass, and cello and 2 trumpeters, one saxophonist, and one violinist one hand if I ever were to want one. There's a computer in a more convenient place to record. I feel that my creativity lately has been higher then ever. I need to get in. I miss songfight. I'm just way too busy.

I'm going to try and submit something for this but I will not say that I am definitely in yet. Hopefully I'll figure something out soon.

Best of luck to you all.

These two girls are crazy and a lot of people hate them, but I don't. I'd like to hear if you can mimic the fullness of their tracks. We'll pick something off the new album for novelty's sake. The second track has Antony from Antony and the Johnsons on it .. so we'll go with it. Stream the whole album:http://stream.qtv.apple.com/qtv/toolshe ... rk_ref.mov
Man this is fucking great! Highly recommended.

CocoRosie was the most-played new music at the radio station last week.

I don't know what's more offensive.
Being mistaken for a Metallica fan, or being mistaken for Leaf.
