Wow Niv! That is a great idea, but I would never ask my fellow Songfighters to part with their hard earned cash! You're right to assume that we can't afford to get the trademark, but... a fundraiser...

Maybe the Hell Yeahs could write a nice tune for us, and then sell it for $5-10 bucks. that would take 50-100 people pitching in.
I'll buy one... that way you don't have to feel too weird about it Heather, and the donators get a tune from you that they wouldn't normally get...
Did someone say that the evilyeahs aren't even together or did I misread that?

It's not assuming that you couldn't afford it, it's the fact that you shouldn't have to. If a band that has already broken up didn't catch a hissyfit, there wouldn't be a problem.

In new Hell Yeahs name news,
the bad Hell Yeahs are stll dead but now another HY arrives. This one is HellYeah. They are the new supergroup made of Vinnie Paul of Pantera, Mudvayne's Gray & Tribett and Nothingface's Montano & Maxwell. This probably wouldn't be a problem seeing as they're HellYeah and you're the Hell Yeahs. But since they have profiles on Myspace, Bebo, Faceparty, Hi5, Xanga, Facebook, Riottt, Orkut, Reverbnatioon, Friendster, Piczo, Blogger, LJ, Weblo, Vampire Freaks, Eventful, Photobucket, Tag World, Umundo, Snapvine, Mozes, Gotult Media...they may be stickler about the name. (What the hell is half that crap anyway?)
