I've recently discovered the greatness of Panko Bread Crumbs (Chinese bread crumbs).

What do you use those for? Like Shake'n'Bake?

Yeah, that's one thing it works well for. Gives me that almost fried taste, but baked, so it's not as unhealthy. I'm picky about chicken in the oven. I don't like it unless it's done right. But there are some great tricks with skinless, boneless chicken using panko crumbs. Very crispy, crunchy!

Okay, I have a new one. You get a big skillet. Start with some spray or oil. Add water as needed throughout. Cook some turkey sausage. Then some sliced onion and green pepper. Then you put in some fresh spinach. Subsequently, you put eggs in there. Then do whatever you want. Maybe add some shredded cheese at the end.

As far as I can tell, this is not only highly delicious, but nutritionally sound.

Yes ladies and gentleman, they are in fact Japanese. On one hand I'm happy to know that, but on the other hand, I'm sad that I didn't.

This morning, my wife and I made a killer breakfast pizza.

Very fluffy scrambled eggs and vegetarian chorizo, and a single diced jalapeno topped with Muenster, Provolone, and Monterey Jack cheeses, over hollandaise sauce on a cornbread crust. It was to die for. We washed it down with mimosas. Mmm.







She thinks we should submit it to http://thisiswhyyourefat.com/ but I'm not sure. What do you guys think?

It passes the "I would eat that" test, so clearly it's not quite horrific enough for that site.

It's not like soy-based protein is inherently a whole lot healthier than meat-based protein. Eat a lot of either, and you'll have more calories than your body can burn. It's just that soy-based protein doesn't involve killing an animal.

...And my wife's a vegetarian. So yeah.
