They told me the permit should go out this week. Even if we don't get the pagoda, there are places we can settle into.

Information about The Sidewalk Cafe from Ben K.:
Backline is as follows
Full PA, DIs, microphones
Piano
Yamaha Rydeen Drum Kit
Marshall JCM 900 50w 2x12 combo
Drummers will need to bring own cymbals.
We will have from 9pm onward (there is an 8pm act that was booked previously). We can go until midnight, 1am is fine as well, though I'd put some of the quieter acts on at the end since it's a Sunday re: neigh bors. So basically 4 hours to work with.
There is a drink minimum at the club, but I assume folks will be ordering beer/coffee anyway. The menu there is great and cheap...if folks want to eat, it's a good place to do it. Lots of bar food stuff.

I edited the list I made a while back, split it into sections given who has said which set they would be playing in. Check it out
here. If you are under the third heading, let us know which set you intend to play.

I will play at both. I will just need to borrow a guitar please.
Sorry you can't make it to join the rest of us "veterans" Bjam. Say g'day to Stuey for me.

Was gonna tell you we could do "Everybody Now" but that wouldn't work out at the early show.

I can do either show, or both. I'll be there for both. 3 songs in the afternoon, 1 song at the evening? Whatever works best.

Tickets are a go, hotel is confirmed with JB and setlist is prepared:
-
Ellis Island (hey, it's
New York, I couldn't help it.)
-
Mediocre Savior
-
All Tan
-
Get Up
-
In The End
Plus, XTRG is in full prep to warp your mind with a never-before-thought-possible live performance.
Woo! I am excited!
Edit: Listening to these tunes again, I've noted that all lot of what I like about them is the vocal arrangement (cf. especially the coda of "Mediocre Savior".) Would anyone be willing to do back-up vox?

Hi guys, I'll be around for both events. No solo set for me, though.
Mainly I should decide whether to drive or take the train in from Long Island. Having the car could be a pain, but if a bunch of people with guitars would find it helpful then maybe it's worth it. Thoughts?

I think Paco's the closest of the theremin slingers here @ SF to the show. Which really doesn't help y'all that much, does it?

Hey, it looks like I may actually make the afternoon show after all! It's in Brooklyn, right? 12PM? I just have to be on a train from Penn Station at 7:15PM. I'll let you know for sure for sure, but I'm going to book a hotel right now.

Unfortunately, Paco can sling neither ass nor Theremin to NYC for this wonderful event. I'm bummed, as there are many people that I'd like to meet and hear play, who will be in attendance.

Yes, bummer not to meet you and also not to have the help of your theremin. Your ass, I don't think I need. No offense.
